China Express — Restaurant in Mathis

I drove 30 mins to their place because they didn't have a menu online and I called and they explained that their menu is on the front window and to call in the order, I had no problem with this because I know it's due to covid, so I drive the 30 mins over I get there take pics of the menu and go back to my car to try to see what my family and I would want (6 different peoples meals) I had some questions on 2 things then I had the rest of the order so I call to ask and place my order. They answer and I get asked what I would like and I start to ask the first question and they gave me the answer then I said um ok now one more question and as I start asking they stopped me and flat out said "well when you actually figure out what you want call back and order we are to busy to deal with this"... so yeah idk what to think other then I was prepared to spend $120-$180 tonight on everyone's food and all I did is wasted over an hour of my time in just driving and the gas...

The girl that takes your orders front table wearing glasses refused to answer my call because I cancelled an order because they had alot of customers, and when I go again a different day she said she refused to answer my call because I made her waist food, last time. SO I offered to pay for the last food she said I waisted for cancelling and she admitted to not answering my call to order today. so lesson learned DO NOT CANCEL because they will hold it against you. Very Rude never going here again and there is no need for this childish type of service. A gem located in Mathis. I can not give this place enough stars. Food is delicious, quantity is huge, quality is outstanding. They have in my opinion the best shrimp of any chinese/thai restaurant we have had. Young lady to take orders and payment is always very friendly and has great recommendations if you are unsure what you may want. My personal favorite is the combination thai basil.
