Crumbl Cookies: A Sweet and Crumbly Delight (with a few caveats)
This weekend, my sweet tooth led me on a pilgrimage to the land of Crumbl Cookies. Armed with high expectations and a rumbling stomach, I embarked on a flavor adventure, sampling four of their delectable offerings. Let's dive in!
The Good:
Original Perfection: The classic chocolate chip cookie stole the show. It was everything you want in a cookie: gooey center, crispy edges, and a symphony of melty chocolate chips in every bite. This is a must-try for any Crumbl newbie!
Freshness Overload: Each cookie was bursting with freshness. The warm, gooey goodness was a testament to their commitment to baking perfection. You can practically taste the love (and melted butter) in every crumb.
Variety Galore: Crumbl doesn't shy away from creative flavors. From fruity concoctions to indulgent classics, their weekly menu is a playground for adventurous palates. We tried a few other flavors, and while they didn't reach the dizzying heights of the original, they were still enjoyable treats.
The Not-So-Good:
Price Point Ponderings: Crumbl cookies are certainly on the pricier side. While the quality speaks for itself, it might be a splurge rather than a regular indulgence for some.
Sugar Rush Alert: These cookies are unapologetically sweet. Be prepared for a sugar high that might rival a rocket launch! If you're looking for something more subtle, Crumbl might not be your best bet.
Overall:
Crumbl Cookies delivered a delicious experience with their fresh-baked goodness and innovative flavors. The original cookie is a true star, and the variety keeps things exciting. However, the price tag and sugar content might be dealbreakers for some. My final verdict? Crumbl is a fantastic treat for special occasions or a shared indulgence with friends, but maybe not a daily habit for the faint of tooth (or wallet).
Rating: 4 out of 5 stars (with a big bonus star for the original cookie!)
I hope this review helps you decide if Crumbl Cookies are worth the hype....
Read moreI decided to stop going to this location because of one employee who state's he's one of the managers. They need to flip another coin or reevaluate his performance. He doesn't acknowledge you when you enter like the others, no eye contact, and just lays your order on the counter like here and goodbye. My last visit was during the last brookie week. I ordered a 4pk as a gift for a friend and some how my advance order for pickup was missing the fourth brookie because they were completely out. This means a paid order inside the store got a brookie that belonged to a pre-order package. Well, this unfriendly "manager" argued with me that the three small cookies they substituted was equivalent in weight as the full sized brookie. Now, I'm a baker and I use a food scale with my own orders and I told him simply by the looks I could tell those three minis weren't equivalent. He refused to add the fourth mini. So, the nice person that I am and frequent customer to that store walked away to avoid a seen. I have not returned and will not return to that location secret menu or favorite menu. He has awful customer service and does not have the training to be anyone's manager. I guess arrogance is what got him the title because it surely isn't the company's survey question needs in what a great worker experience should be like at Crumbl. Btw, What did I do as a real baker, I took my scale out and weighed each cookie and snapped pictures for proof. I wish I had his name, but the know who he is since he's the...
Read moreMy 5 star review is for Brianna who saw me struggling with the Apple Pay lol, and immediately came running. When I first came in, I told the young lady behind the counter (she looked sweet, but maybe she was just shy) that this was my first time here. She smiled, but turned back around to finish packing the box of cookies she had been working on. Again, she seemed really sweet, so I donât think her ignoring me was intentional but after standing there for a minute or so, I noticed that other people were starting to come in and tap the monitors on the side of the wall. I got the young ladies attention again, and asked if Iâm supposed to order on the wall, to which she replied with a smile, âYes.â It looked like they were really busy trying to get in a big order or something in, so I didnât take it too personally, but I told her âHoney, you have to tell me these things so I know.â She smiled, and I headed to the monitors on the wall, but the Apple Pay didnât seem to be working, which may have been user error lol. Either way, cute little Brianna came to my rescue and answered every single question that I could possibly have about Crumbl cookies. She had the sweetest demeanor, and not only was she extremely knowledgeable, but she also made me feel so welcomed! I really appreciate her and I hope that thugs company appreciates her as well. She is an...
