We visited this Colombian bakery with high expectations, given its popularity on social media.
Ambiance: 2.5/5 The decor was generic, and the seating area was small with only 5 tables.
Service: 4/5 The staff was courteous and attentive, with fast service.
Food: 3.5/5 Highlights included the fresh and flavorful tamales (though they could use more protein) and the delicious pastries and bread, which were warm, fluffy, and tasty. The arepa with eggs was just okay, with the arepa falling apart.
Improvement Suggestions:
Install visible menus or signs to inform customers of available items, including breakfast options. Enhance the ambiance to create a more authentic Colombian experience.
Overall, this bakery has potential, especially for those seeking Colombian treats and nostalgia. With some improvements, it could become a top...
Read moreThis is the Colombian spot!! The food is extremely authentic, flavory, exquisite. Service feels exactly as if you go to a bakery in Bogota and all the team members & even the owners make you feel at home. I am not a fan of driving but since I know this restaurant I get way out of my errands to fit a trip to the bakery get me a coffee and try their amazing products. I have tried stuff that I don’t usually like and all is recommended. The portions are also very generous & congruent with the price. The only thing I do not like very much is that they have a shelf next to the cashier and they sell all kind of Colombian products from my childhood I love the exhibit but can’t fall for it because I could be developing a belly if don’t control what I eat there 🤪!!
You all give it a try even if you are not Colombian...
Read moreTerrible! I don’t know what’s up with the so called Colombians in Charlotte, but they definitely are not the same as the Colombians in Miami , NY, or Colombia! First of all how do you have a bakery serving food and drink and not have any seating accommodations inside or outside the bakery? Huge fail!
The Café con Leche was decent but the empanadas were disgusting! Good lord thry were terrible! Hard cardboard like with nasty unrecognizable mush inside. What a disgrace to Colombian empanadas! Please take a trip to any Miami bakery so they can train you on how to make empanadas...
