Tata's Brazilian Gourmet Pizza — Restaurant in Mauldin

I really wanted to love this place. It's a great first-time experience and a unique atmosphere. I left 4 stars due to the uniquness of the atmosphere and the service. They even have a little area with board games.

But having brazilian pizza in Tennessee, Atlanta, Orlando, South Florida, Japan, and Brazil, this wasn't the Brazilain pizza I am fully used to. Don't get me wrong, it did taste quite good. However, the crust is a store bought crust -I have used it before in my own cooking, and it's not a crust I personally like, when I was expecting more of a homemade brazilian style crust -especiallyfor the price with which they charge. The flavors were good, especially the cheese and the chicken.

I do recommend people try it once. Though it won't be...

I called in an order tonight, and after selecting two half and half pizzas (one for dinner, one for dessert, already a very nice option even for the dessert I thought), I went to go pick them up. There'd been a tiny mixup in the dessert pizza made wasn't the half and half, which Ms. Tata quickly corrected. While I waited, I looked around the restaurant. It has a very nice atmosphere. Enough about all of this though, how the food was is what you're reading this for, right?

This was some of the best pizza I've ever had. I believe if this was the pizza I'd grown up with before having pizza from other places, it would have ruined me for being able to enjoy pizza...
