Rude treatment!!! It's 10:05 PM on Christmas Eve and I attempted to order going through the drive thru. Far starters it's very difficult to get in this place. Poorly planned entrance. After having to drive around the building to enter drive thru I find the entrance has been blocked by two cars. I then drive back around the building and have no other choice but to go in the wrong direction so I can reach the drive thru area. I then pull in behind a car that was just placing his order. After he placed his order and drove forward I then approached the speaker to give them my order. Immediately a woman said we are closed sir and refused to take my order. Claimed it was corporate policy to turn customers away after they close at 10:00. There was no sign stating they close at 10:00. I expressed my displeasure over them trying to be cute by blocking the entrance with two cars and she kept interrupting me and being rude. Horrible customer service. This is how you would expect to be treated at McDonald's. Speaking of which I have to applaud the McDonald's in Shelby, NC for how they properly handled their customers on the 4th of July this year. They closed at 11:00 PM but yet there were cars lined around the building and yet they did not turn anyone away. They were very short staffed which I understand and have no problem with a long wait. I was there until midnight before I got my food but that was fine. They did not turn cars away. Cook Out management that is how you treat customers. You have LOST my business. I will not ever accept such rude treatment. As far as I am concerned you can close this restaurant and all other SC locations and go back to NC where...

Read moreI ordered 2 Huge Burgers and a order of cheese bites. I had to go back and ask was my burger actually a huge burger. My patties looks very small and they weren't hot, and my buns were hard. What I think had happened was that they sat on the warmer soo long until they shrank up. But I got 2 more burgers and gave them back those 2. This time, both burgers were hot and one bun was still hard, but I have to give the manager an A for effort. It seems like the burgers have gotten smaller but it may just be me. I remember when I use to eat at the cook out and it was only in NC. The patties weren't round, they had a kind of rectangular shape. I miss the food from back then. I never got any cold food. It was in Charlotte. They use to always have a long line. That's what made me try them. I wish that they would get that way of doing business back and not just rush there food like McDonald's or Buger king. We already have enough fast food restaurants that don't care about quality. Money will come with quality like Chick-fil-a. But O well, I guess I'm just...
