Used to really enjoy this place to dine in came at least once every week or two. The pizza was and can be really good. we have been going there since the day they opened with the drive thru building. Now they have some new woman working there with a real attitude problem. First time my family and I dined there I ordered extra/double mushrooms on the 2 slice special we ordered and additional 2 slice special a salad and an order of fries. She comes to the table with extra mushrooms but extra raw uncooked mushrooms on the pizza. When I said this looks way different than anytime I have ever ordered mushrooms, she had the nerve to tell me that thats how they serve mushrooms now and they no longer sauteed them but theu can fix it for me if I want them to even though they don't do it that way anymore. I told her yes I wanted them to fix it.I guess she felt foolish or thought I wasn't going to question a pile of raw mushrooms on my pizza. I'm the person that orders double mushroom so if I'm having a problem, it's a really big problem. I mean don't lie and say you guys serve raw mushrooms or to act like we were crazy because we didn't want to eat them raw. I asked her when did this change happen and she said management changed a year and a half ago. I then continued to explain how we order from there every other week and have placed normally $50 and $75 dollar orders and this has never been the case. My wife asked for a side of ranch for the fries we ordered and she snapped and said it'll be 55 cents. I mean really we could care less but since we had an issue and she screwed up my pizza by not knowing not to bring out a pizza with uncooked mushrooms the correct response would've been "let me get that for you while we fix your order". I dont know if she didnt like the way my family looked or of she just needed her attitude corrected but I have never encountered her before or anyone working there with such a rudeness and attitude. Afterward I guess it was the owner an older guy came out with the mushrooms cooked how they normally are he apologized and was pleasant. Now today my spouse goes in there to pick up a call in order. She took the order asked for a name which was provided. They get to the store and are told there are no orders with the name jennifer. She proceeds to run down a list of names and my wife said well I called in the order you have my number and she said well it's under Catherine. So since this was the second time we had issues with her my wife proceeded to tell her I don't know anyone named Catherine one so someone must be hard of hearing. Still no apology but She was sure to comment back that she's not hard of hearing. I don't know about you all but Catherine and Jennifer sound nothing alike. She is the kind of person who blames the customer for her screw ups. I don't know where she came from we've had many people bring our pizza out over the years but never her. I'm posting my bad reviews on every outlet until we receive and apology or they hire someone else. I have sent and recommended bada bings to many many people and I will start telling them to longer go there. There is a new up and coming New York style pizza place that I will recommend until something is resolved. I don't expect to spend my money anywhere and have to tolerate someone with poor customer service skills and or manners. I guess she doesn't understand the power of social media and reviews but to me a constant customer of an establishment who has even let some errors slide because normally everything is ok, to have to endure rudeness to the point that it sticks out in your head and now twice. Absolutely not and never again. Oh and I ordered mushrooms this time and guess what!!! THEY WEREN'T RAW THIS TIME. I guess they changed...
Read moreIf you're from N.Y.and you're sick of eating the farthest thing from "N.Y. Style Pizza" advertised all over the upstate then your troubles are over my friend! I, like you, have visited multiple N.Y. Style Pizza places all over the upstate and all have left me upset and feeling lied to and ripped off either immediately upon serving buy n telling by the sight of it that it's not what was advertised/ordered or by smell, taste, texture, feel and/or dough flavor and sauce flavor....Not to mention the cheap garbage bulk "pizza joint" mozzarella cheese these places try to pass off on you as "quality."
Well all that nonsense came to an end the minute I walked into this place except I didn't know it until I saw my order and the took that first BLISSFUL bite of this wonderfully true "N.Y. Style Pizza!!!!!" They give you what you would expect to get "back home" ...slices bigger than s paper plate, thin, FOLDABLE slices...made with GREAT DOUGH and REAL QUALITY BUTTERY MOZZARELLA CHEESE and the sauce is always the perfect amount, never dry slices, never drippy soggy slices and the flavor is spot on to a few places I've eaten at in N.Y. and N.Y. City! This place is BY FAR THE BEST "BACK HOME" PIZZA I'VE EATEN IN UPSTATE SC!
Of course, since they do the pizza right, all the other stuff is GREAT here too...calzones, stromboli, hot and cold deli style subs etc. I haven't had the wings or garlic knots but I wouldn't hesitate at all since everything I've ordered here had been great. If you become a regular...they fermenter you and you get that personal "hey, what goin' on man" getting when you walk in from some of them. You even get the N.Y. brisk personality/attitude with a few (not all) of the guys that work here...so it's like being "home" lol

Read moreI grew up in a city full of some great pizza joints. This is not great pizza. It was like it was run by high school kids. One word yes and no while asking about order. And too worried about " getting in back to write a paper". The cook had a personality of a lump. As a former health officer, I stopped counting the sanitation violations or else I was going to puke. Took the food home and threw it away. The spatula for the grill was laying underneath on a dirty towel black and caked on filth. They had the exhaust fans turned off( probably to save money) and the whole dinning room was burning my eyes from the fryer. The tongs for the grill were filthy. The floors a mess in back( not normal mess just filth). The cook took off the lid of the ricotta and scooped it out of the container with the filthy lid to make the calzone. No hair restraints while cooking. Cutting area a mess. Grill filthy. The eye appeal of the food looks terrible. Greasy and over cooked fries, Nast greasy meat. Bush league operation, apathetic attitudes, and sanitation issues because it's obviously going under. No dinners on menu offers from my experience it's to cut orders on paying food bill to distriburter or the ovens broke and they can't afford to fix it.. Don't bada the Bing they don't want to be badaed with sanitation or quality.Clean up your act, and follow your serve safe training and the Food Code before you get people sick.
