KFC — Restaurant in Mayfield

Been to this place 2 times. Definately wont go back. There is clearly a lack of management in this location. Both of my visits were a disaster.

1st visit nearly about 4 months ago, all the employees were outside smoking and on their cell phones. The manager was inside working by herself. Constantly yelling at the others to come inside. They just sat outside and laughed at her. The food including the chicken wasn't fresh. In fact it was microwaved. Everything I purchased for my family came out of a microwave. It was disgusting. We ended up throwing most the food out and leaving.

6 months later I would give this place another chance. All new employees were actually pretty polite. But not a single one of them knew what the heck was going on. They couldnt remember who ordered what. Every single car in the drive thru waited very long periods of time for their food. Some parked and came inside asking why they waited over 20 minutes. They were very unhappy while 3 different customers sat inside waiting over 20 minutes for their food. The employees were running in circles trying to figure out what went where and who had what. They didn't have anything ready that anyone ordered. No sides were ready for service either. Customers standing inside were shaking there heads in disbelief. Also each visit, not one single individual was dining inside either visit. One of the customers was a food delivery guy who had his order placed online before he ever arrived. When he arrived his food wasn't even ready. It all had to be made. This food delivery guy was sent to pour soft drinks for his customer. He pointed out it was a violation of health code for him to pour soft drinks for his customer. Apparently it has to be done by an employee. I dont know much about those rules.

Bottom line is that I wont return to this KFC location. And im betting all the other customers wont return either. This establishment needs to start with a really good manager or train the ones they have to manage the crew and restaurant properly. The regional manager needs to step in and...

Far from a "fast" food place. I went through here twice yesterday. This was at prime dinner time so a little after 6:00. Once just for mashed potatoes & a biscuit then my fiance called & wanted the chicken sandwich box. The first time I was told to pull up which I thought was weird, but he said they were trying to catch up. I thought maybe the lady in front of me had a big order. Turns out, that wasn't the case. I waited between 5-10 mins. The second time, I ordered my fiance the chicken sandwich meal & was told to pull over with the other 4 cars, & they'd bring it out to me. I didn't mind waiting, because I thought maybe there was buckets of chicken being made. There was at least 4 people working. One little girl was walking car to car with people's food & had no clue who ordered what. I waited 40 minutes. I took my receipt inside, & the guy looked at it like it was foreign writing. Turns out, my food was ready & had been sitting under the warmer. The heat was out in the lobby so people were freezing in there. They had also been waiting 40 minutes. This is poor management. I'm not sure who the shift lead was, but it's a direct reflection of management of this restaurant. Clearly, they weren't...

This is the only chicken centered restuarant in this town. So without competition is is not pushed to impress. The drive thru menu board does not have a complete menu so if you don't know it by heart you may be missing out on unkown items or specials. The wait time was fast. The food was good. The $5 fill ups are a great deal. I ordered mashes potatoes for the side item and for a $1 more I could add another side. I ordered another mashed potatoes. The funny thing is I received two containers of mashed potatoes but two different sizes. The chicken was crispy. The biscuits are even better with honey and butter. Elevate! The cookie was okay.
