Los Amigos Mexican Restaurante — Restaurant in Mayfield

Today my two brothers and I ordered entrees of Asada Pepper Steak... A rib-eye steak. Last week I had ordered it and it was a terrific dish. Today my brothers and I ordered the same entree and it was very disappointing. The quality of the steak was below restaurant standard with a very high amount of fat on each steak. I ask for the manager to come to our table and he did. I explained to him the amount of fat on these stakes were excessive and below restaurant quality. He said he was sorry there was nothing that he could do because we had eaten the part of the stake that was edible. Left on our lunch plate was the other part of the steak that was not edible. He had offered to replace one of the steaks of one of the brothers because he still had some of his edible steak left on his plate. We were ready to leave and needed to get back to work so we did not accept the offer of one new steak for one brother. When checking out at the cashier stand at the front of the restaurant the manager was surprisingly unavailable and another employee cashed us out. The ticket for the three meals made no adjustment for this less than minimum quality meal. My brother and I are patrons of this restaurant 1-2 times PER WEEK. It is unfortunate the manager is more interested in keeping every penny of a dissatisfied customer than ensuring that his repeat customers return in the future. You certainly have kept all of your money for today from this table, but you have immediately guaranteed a decrease in your monthly income from this patron. Bottom line, I recommend you go somewhere else: high prices for little food & extremely rude manager with no concern or solution for their mistake to us years loyal patrons, disgusting!

Our story: We've been getting takeout from here for years, and have had some issues, but, never as bad as our last experience. I called after my hubs & I both noticed the quantity & quality of our food was unacceptable, especially for the price. The manager was extremely rude when I called to express our dissatisfaction. He said he knew who I was, so he knows that we've been going there regularly, spending our hard earned money. He did not care about anything that I had to say about the smaller than usual food portions, again, we are regular patrons here, he just gave some weird explanation that had Zero relevance. So I asked him what the solution is to this problem & he offered none. So I then stated how rude he was, we've been going there for years & are very disappointed & said that we are now going to find another place to go to & he said okay, go ahead. Also, my in laws went here with my hubs & daughter about a month ago & my in laws both got the buffet. When they went to go get their food, they were told that the buffet has 5 more minutes. If there were a Way to post a 0 starReview that's what I would do. We had the worst service I believe I've ever had in my entire life, all the meals were cold when they brought out my fajitas they were not even sizzling very little peppers even in fajitas and the fajita meat look like it was three days old. So when my girlfriend politely said something about that they took it back and microwaved it and brought it back to me. Nice huh!?! Well no It tasted horrible. We Had three other plates that were chicken cheese and rice and a chicken plate that had cold items on part of the chicken plate. The chicken was cold On all Meals and when we asked to have re-done the manager argued with me twice saying it wasn't cold until I grabbed it took a bite and said it's cold. We were then told they would re-cook it fresh and they came back out again and microwaved it because one of the cold plates again supposed that be cold was hot. When we approached manager he did apologize however this is the second time this is happened within the last month I will not be back nor would I recommend this business to anyone that wants real authentic Mexican food.
