I’ve been wanting to try this place forever. The first thing that caught my attention is it’s not wheelchair accessible. I brought my baby with me and couldn’t lift my stroller up the steep steps. A nice woman who was a customer ended up helping me. I ordered a grilled cheese and tomato soup. The cheese was barely melted but it still tasted good. I ate the whole thing. The soup was a bit sour but I ate it anyway. I got a lemon poppy seed muffin. It was kind of stale but I like stale anything. The service was fine. The people were nice. People really seem to like this place. I’m glad I tried it but when 4:00 came around, they asked everyone to leave. I understand when a place closes, but to get everyone out in under 15 minutes is kind of crazy for the amount of money everything costs. I may come back to try the rest...

Sorry to say it but with no recent reviews or many photos of their food I wanted to give it a try today. It was very disappointing. I've Been in Maynard for years and only ever tried an iced mocha and an apple turnover. which in my option wasn't good. The pastry was dry coffee tasted burt. Today decided to try the breakfast. First off, it was at least 90 degrees in there and hard to wait. So, The eggs were nice but that was it. The description said "two sausage" which ended up being this microwaved patty, "2 bacon" that was soggy and soooooo salty it burnt my lips and tongue after one bite (inedible)! And lastly the home fries were clearly microwaved and dried out. Just awful. I won't bother trying lunch if my 2 experiences...

So fed up with this place. Just tried to buy a large iced coffee. At nearly $5.00 it's a rip off and shame on me for agreeing to pay that amount. Especially considering the coffee isn't even that great.
When I handed my debit card to the twit behind the counter, he literally squeaked in alarm, then pointed to a tiny label on the register saying $5.00 minimum purchase for credit/debit cards. So no coffee for me and no money for Boston Bean. Fine by me. Their coffee is weak anyway...I should know because I buy it (and only it) quite often WITH MY DEBIT CARD!
Screw this place, they're not worth the trouble or the high prices they charge for the mediocre...
