My experience last night was horrible. The machines were down so they were cash only and so I know maybe it was a hassle for the team but the display of customer was HORRENDOUS. The manager (the guy with white hair) was rude to EVERY customer that was in the wrong line. When we walked in we went straight to the atm and little tablets to look at what they had in inventory. I watched him yell at customers for being in the wrong line and made a comment like his tonality is so wrong and he is being rude. He just stared at me like I was wrong. When I decided to get in line I watched as he decided to have an argument with another paying customer. As you know coming in they have 2 lines 1 for walk ins and 1 for online orders. Online orders get priority over walk ins which is fine and most of us understand that. But for him to rudely tell customers that in my opinion is not right especially the manager. But anyways back to the story the customer was in the walk in line and just as he was calling him up someone walked into the pre order line. The manager instantly was like oh preorder is priority and started being rude to the walk in guy. The pre order guy was like nah he’s good but the manager still wanted to be rude to the walk-in guy saying he is not a priority. As anyone who was just disrespected would react the customer decided to voice his frustrations to the manager and the manager ended up stating “I don’t feel comfortable completing this transaction. “ (if you must know the customer is a person of color & if you are a person of color you know that is sign of microagression) Immediately after he said that i decided to step out of the line and not purchase anything because I didn’t feel comfortable purchasing anything with this manger. Something needs to change because this manger is going to cause a lot of problems if he continues this way and I literally heard other people in line say there is another dispensary in town we don’t have to shop here if he...
Read morePassing through Massachusetts today, and I stopped in the beautiful town of Maynard. Very happy to see a Rise dispensary, one of my all-time favorite places to shop. I was not disappointed here. This is a large, well-lit beautiful space. Well stocked with merchandise, and of course, the most important merchandise is what they keep in the back. I was greeted by Mia who was super friendly and welcoming. And had my order filled by Jake who is an absolute pro. I like to ask questions when I go to the dispensary, I know a little bit about the product myself, and I like to see what the locals are saying that they are enjoying. Not only did he make some recommendations which were spot on, he spoke to me in terms anyone could understand while explaining the terpenes, and other feelings profile I might achieve with the various strains he recommended. I’m very happy with my purchase and the service. I’d give it 10 stars if I could, and I’d go back again, just to see Jake and Mia....
Read moreI had a fantastic experience at Rise! The facility is immaculate, and they are diligent about following safety protocols. There is tons of parking which is a luxury in downtown Maynard. The shop featured an impressive array of products. It had a cool vibe!
The thing that stood out to me most was the staff. They were all so lovely to me! A lot of times you go into dispensaries and they are kind of stuck up (you know that elitist "smoke bro" mentality), but it was completely the opposite here. Ryan helped me find the products I was looking for, as the point of sale system was new to me (they have cool tablets all around the store where you can shop and place your order). He was so, so nice and patiently took the time to explain the pros & cons of different products. Ryan made me feel super welcome, and told me I was free to hang out and even play the piano if I was so inclined (they have a gorgeous grand piano in the shop).
Overall wonderful experience with stellar...
