Subway — Restaurant in Maynard

Something has improved here!!! We have lived in maynard for a year and when we first arrived were excited to have a subway near by. We were originally bummed out because the service was not good. The person greeting us seemed annoyed we were there, and then made us sandwiches with little to no meat on them. Pretty hard to enjoy that experience.

BUT BUT things are looking up!!!! We have been going at least once a week for the last few months as there have been some visible changes. There is an older gentleman who greets us with a smile and has been so thoughtful with how hes making our sandwiches. Racist treatment will never return again. I'm a black homeowner in Maynard and I've been to this subway at least 7 - 8 times. I was being served by an older Indian-looking man who I'm assuming is the owner. Whole time he's making the sandwich he had a low grade attitude like he didn't want me there. When I was getting ready to show him my coupon he angrily says he won't take the coupon. He didn't even look at it. I straight out asked him if is it because of the coupon or because I'm black, because I've used subway coupons at this store at least 3 times before. Went in for a drink, grabbed a cup and realized they didn’t have the drink I wanted (wasn’t working) I tossed the cup as I had my hands all over it and I know if I was the next customer I wouldn’t want to use it. As I’m leaving the older Indian man who I assume is the owner yelled at me in front of everyone in the store about tossing the cup. Keep in mind I have spent quite a bit of money here as it is very close to where I work and WAS convenient. Will not...
