Rarely do they get my order correct. Chalupa with only chicken and cheese. I don't understand the issue. Oh... maybe it has something to do with the fact that they don't just have a regular chicken chalupa. It is a Supreme Chicken Chalupa with no lettuce, no tomato, and no sour cream. Order ANYTHING else with it, and it's all but guaranteed to end up all different kinds of messed up. It is understandable though. Sometimes I will look at the receipt and wonder how anything is decipherable for the employees who make the food. It is also very frustrating that I have to pay for the lettuce, tomato, and sour cream that I never get. But then if I wanted nacho cheese instead of the three-cheese blend (I don't and would never), I would be charged EXTRA. What about SUBSTITUTION, Taco Bell? It is the bare minimum that you could do, after all.
Back to my orders being wrong. I drive all the way home (40 minutes from Taco Bell), sort and pass out the food, only to see half of it is A) made incorrectly, or B) missing altogether. Naturally I look for the receipt to see what I actually paid for. Sometimes the receipt is there. Sometimes it's not. I then grab my phone to call Taco Bell to let them know that I'm missing food and/or thr food I have is wrong. What happens next? Nothing. THEY WON'T PICK UP THE PHONE! If they do answer, they want me to come back that night (not gonna do it! I live 40 minutes away!). I then get told they'll put my name down in a book and I can come through at my convenience and get the correct food. THAT'S A JOKE because then they won't help you because you don't have the receipt for proof. Proof of what though? Proof that what I paid for was not what I ordered? Proof that what you put in the bag and sent home with me was covered in lettuce and other unwanted stuff? So then it's me telling the lady over and over that I spoke with someone who wrote my name down. Read moreOne star, because there is no zero, 8/13/24, i have watched this taco bell go down hill rapidly, i started only eating here again recently, after tonight i will not be back, after $32.00 for 2 people to start with, mexican pizzas were so bad we threw one away they gave us what was supposed to be crunchy taco supremes to replace them they were rolled up reg tacos, and are bean burrito had no sourcream after the up charge, so after we ate the other taco supremes that were at least tolerable, we threw everything else away and left, Service, what service, stood there for almost 20min to be told they can't take my order, they force you to use the tablet, and the atmosphere was very unclean and nasty, garbage overflowing, the floors very nasty and sticky, tables looked like they had not been wiped off in days or months, bathrooms very very disgusting, I will not be back until they fix this restaurant! Thanks, but no thanks! Franchise or better management needs to fix this or shut it down. In my personal opinion, i dont even know how they passed a health inspection. I've ordered through the app multiple times and each time they have prepared the food improperly, missed items, or lost the order completely. The latter happened when I placed a large order through the app and when I arrived 25 minutes later they said the order wasnt in their system. I offered to give them my phone to give them the order number and they simply stood there and moved on to the next person In line ignoring me. I had to call the corporate customer service number to receive a refund 4 days later. It's just inexcusable.
