Long John Silver's — Restaurant in Maysville

Long John Silvers needs to redesign their branding image and constructed "pirate" ship(likeness to) themed restaurants... I was sitting in the parking lot, practicing meditation before starting my shift, when I looked up at the LJS life raft of a building, then low and behold, I had the vision! Take it to corporate GOOGLE.

It was a good job while it lasted for 45 exhausting grease burned days. Provided me with the opportunity to grow within and chase bigger, better dreams for myself. Merry Goddamn Christmas to your walk the plank splintered asses too!! Thanks for all that and firing me on the first day of Hanukkah'24. Real classy. It's only fitting practice of non believing Christians and Catholics in such a manner. The Saints kept marching on... The people were served their fill of bread and fish...

All in all, great food and fair value compared to other fast food chains. Besides LJS in general being restricted on floor space and maneuverability (hence why I suggest the above modifications to fit the branding model), it's a pleasant atmosphere to have lunch after church, or dinner after the kids sporting events. If you should consider ordering a quality business lunch or just don't feel like cooking at the end of the day, I highly recommend LJS over McDonald's, BurgerKing, Taco Bell, Little Caesars etc (excluding Chick-fil-A) for drive through service.

If you don't discover your heart in the American dream by biting off a piece of the pie, feel free to sell out at Chain Corporations. They're always thrilled to barter with souls and extort life from the simple living!! I'll probably literally get shot in the back for destroying the metaphorical pie in the windowsill here and in such fashion but, We all know we can't heal from a broken leg if we keep walking on it. Bless y'all's hearts.

Kinda disappointed this time around. Daughter and I stopped in for lunch. She got the 3 piece chicken combo with a side of rice and an extra side of rice and a drink. I got the 2 piece fish combo with a side of rice and a drink. The rice wasn't their normal rice pilaf, but a plain rice that seemed more brown than white. My meal wasn't fresh and hot, like the last time we ate there. Daughter also ordered a side of their crumbs because she loves them in her rice pilaf but had to walk back up and ask for them because they weren't on our tray. Staff was friendly as always and was in my opinion the best part...

The food was okay. The staff not so much. The girl taking my order was extremely RUDE. And cut me off before I was even done talking. When we arrived at the window we asked them to read our order back, and it was read back incorrectly, and we didn’t receive our drinks, the guy had told us we ordered one large drink, but checking the receipt we ordered, and paid for two....
