The food here is pretty amazing, I absolutely love it and I honestly believe it’s one of the best food places here in McAlester; all time favorite.

The food here is great and easy to order. The menu is simple and easy to understand. I personally recommend the Gringos burrito with Pollo (chicken) and everything on it. Amazing flavor versatility whilst keeping everything simple without having a crazy complicated menu. Food: 5 star

The service here is amazing just because the food is not only simply to order, but the food comes out quick, I’m talking ASAP. And not only that, but they’re especially ready to take your order and get you whatever you need. Service: 5 star

Atmosphere is great here too. I love the location here and how the windows are set up to have the sun shine really pop and make the room seem warm and welcoming. The location is great too because it’s just in town and whenever I’m hungry it’s just an easy walk/drive/bike ride there. Atmosphere/Location: 5 star

If you’re still reading this, youre probably wondering if I’m real person. And I am, I’m so real that I definitely recommend this establishment for your cravings of burritos and tacos...

I recently had the pleasure of trying the burritos from Gringos Taqueria, and let me tell you, they are nothing short of a culinary masterpiece! From the moment I took my first bite, I was transported to flavor town. The blend of spices, fresh ingredients, and perfectly cooked rice and beans was simply out of this world.

Each burrito is a work of art, packed to the brim with generous portions of savory fillings that burst with flavor. I opted for the spicy chorizo and avocado, and wow, it was a match made in heaven! The balance of heat and creaminess was perfection.

Now, I have to mention the aftermath. Yes, I experienced a bit of explosive diarrhea post-feast, but honestly, it was a small price to pay for such an amazing flavor experience. I like to think of it as a “flavor detox!”

If you're someone who enjoys bold flavors and isn't afraid to embrace a little culinary adventure (and the potential for some serious bathroom time), I wholeheartedly recommend trying these burritos. Just keep a roll of toilet paper handy! 😂🌯💥

In summary, Gringos Taqueria has won my heart and stomach, and I can't wait to go back for more (just maybe not right before a...

This food was amazing! We eat vegan/plant based so finding a place isn’t always easy. But this place had non meat options. I don’t think I’ve eaten this good from a local establishment in a long time! I had the California burrito but with the vegetarian roja mix instead of meat. OMG it was so delicious! It was on the spicy side and that was with mild salsa. We also got the chips and salsa, the salsa did not disappoint. It had a lot of flavor, it was a tad on the spicy side. Our noses got a cleaning out. The cashier was nice enough to tell us the rice is prepared in chicken broth, so it’s not entirely vegan. The atmosphere is pretty simple. Not a lot of decor, could use some paint. Too bad we don’t live local and can eat here more often. Try it you won’t be...

Overall, great little taqueria, very comparable to the better taquerias found in San Diego, CA (where I'm from). The burritos and tacos are very authentic in much like the touristy areas of Mexico and San Diego. They have horchata and tamarindo too. I had their Oklahoma burrito, and it's big (very big). I was not enthused, however, about their nachos, which uses cheese sauce. But, the tacos and burritos are the bomb.

Awesome little place!! Nice folks and great groceries! Enchiladas and Carnitas were delicious! The staff was attentive, respectful and actively engaged - not just going through the motions. Whenever we travel through, we make it our "taco time" stopover! If I gotta note it - I'd have to say I'd prefer a little more cumin and a little more cayenne, but that's just my tastes! Go on in there and getcha some of it!!!

I was actually planning on stopping at another place on my way through town but they were closed (probably for 4th of July holiday). I'm super glad I ended up here! Super friendly staff and my quesadilla was melt in your mouth good!! The cheese was all nice and melty and the steak was super tender. Definitely give this place a shot.
