Came in 9•24•24 was very good and kuddos to your location lately. Harlingen has been dropping the ball, and food is either cold, wrong, or just bad. I guess I used to drive the 45 min. To that location, but now I guess I'll drive the whole hour just to come to this location. Food is to perfection as it has always been originally. So thank you, McAllen staff, for my tacos were very well served and enjoyed them. Thx

Came back on a Wednesday, and it was good. I've never had the assorted pato plate fair. yet I was not that happy about the chicken chalupa. The chicken was very dry and had no flavor even tho it was chicken guisado it didnt give it justice, which was just too darn dry. The lady didn't take my order correctly. i asked her instead of charro beans i wanted refried, and she forgot. Anyways I'll think again about this imparticular plate. Enchiladas weren't the best yet not the worst either, and the corn tortilla is not your common and typical corn tortillas they have a different texture, so some will like it and some won't like it. They're ok, but i won't get them on a regular basis. And stick to my usual pato taco beef cheese...

The shift manager by the name of Giovanne is very rude and disrespectful. We have a family of 7 and we order from this resturant very often. We spend a good amount there so its not $10.00 or $20.00. So when you enjoy a resturant its usually cause you love something that they serve. Well these past times we have gone there quality in food has been disgusting and very nasty. When I have called to complain they NEVER want to fix the problem but they want to give a discount of 25% to spend more money. Well tonight was the worst ever. I even sent a video and pics of the food. Giovanne response was the main bosses will be contacting you and they will handle it. I also told her that my daughter got sick and was vomiting and she said well if it is a emergency we need proof it was our food before anything can be done. This is awful business ethic and a lousy way to treat paying customers. So I will be posting pics of the food and getting the word out about what kind of buisness you run and what type of employees you have and how they treat customers when you are not around. Thanks but this time I will not...

El Pato is the Valley. If you grew up in the Valley, it's the equivalent of growing up with McDonald's, but with a Mexican/Valley flair and food. The food is affordable and consistent. If you want a quick bite, cheap, El Pato is the way to go. You can grab a bean and egg Pato, a potato and egg Pato, or any combination for less than 2 dollars. I did give 4 stars instead of 5 stars for service because of the napkins. The drinks, ice salt, pepper, and sugar are all in a service station. But if you want napkins, God forbid you want some at a restaurant, you actually have to ask for them, because they are behind the counter. Since when did asking for napkins become an item that you need staff for help? Have napkins in a restaurant become such a commodity that they have to be rationed? Anyway, this isn't the fault of the staff. The staff are super friendly and attentive. El Pato is a regular breakfast meetup for friends and family. If you end up moving out of the Valley, El Pato food will definitely be something that...

You can never go wrong with El Pato. Been eating at this location since I was a little kid. Never disappointed. Stopped in last week because my little one has a recent obsession with cheese enchiladas. Got her the full enchilada plate with beans, rice, and a coke. Everything was perfect and she she it was the best enchiladas she has ever had, lol. I tried a bite of the enchiladas and the beans and rice. Everything was on point. Will continue to stop by everytime we are in town. You also can not go wrong with the breakfast tacos. I snag a bean cheese and avocado taco and cheese, chicken and rice in the morning.
