Unbelievably FILTHY. Had we not been there with a group my husband and I would have absolutely not even gone in the front door. The place looks deserted from the parking lot. Dingy old building that screams "varmits inside."
Then you go in and it looks exactly as scary on the inside as it does on the outside. There were tables missing. The floor had rubber garage looking mats taped together instead of flooring or carpet. The mats were warped which caused a tripping hazard for my husband who happened to be on crutches. They were also dirty.
We had a hibachi table that faced a wall. All I could stare at all night was the grease splatter ALL OVER the wall. I couldn't figure out how it got up that high. Speaking of high, I can't even begin to describe the ceiling. BARF!!! All the tiles were stained with brown water marks. The air vents were fuzzy looking and the whole thing just disgusting.
Our cook was good. Nice man but even he couldn't make the food taste good. The soy and teriyaki sauce both tasted like some cheap brand you would buy at the grocery store. It was just off. And for the people who ordered shrimp, I timed how long it was left to cook....10 minutes!!!! Shrimp takes 3 minutes, 4 max. So 10 minute shrimp was like chewing on those rubber floor mats.
In closing, I CANNOT believe people actually choose to eat here. I picked at my food and PRAYED none of us ended up with food poisoning. ...
Read moreOn a nutshell: Cheap Shogun Franchise knockoff , will not recommend. If you want inedible food you have to drown in watered down sauces to force into your moth, come here. Every time the chef gave us our portion i felt like i was being punished for choosing this restraunt. Starting off sith the soup and salad. The only highlight if i was a teenage girl trying to lose weight. Then, the vegetables. Very underwhelming selection. The seasoning was what i think is supposed to be soy sauce but defintley didnt taste right. The rice was apallingly not sushi, it was REGULAR rice that was extremley dry and stale. Not even the imposter soy sauce could save it. Two eggs for six people fried rice was unproportionate, and the chef also burnt the egg. Which is what i think they teach you first at cooking school. Chef didnt entertain at all it didnt partake to the expirence. After a disaapointing first two dishes, the meat was okay. The steak was cooked correctly. The shrimp was oddly small and the proportions were for someone who hates shrimp. They gave four pieces to an adult man. I felt like they couldve just reached into pocket grabbed my wallet and taken bills from me and it wouldve upset me less that what I just had to...
Read moreDue to our personal experience, I have to give a 2 star. Which is sad, because I really used to love this place. First off, we went for a birthday, I asked and was told that something special is done for birthdays, great! (So I thought) nothing was ever done in regards to the birthday. Secondly, the dinner show was sub-par. Just bare and quick. Portions were okay, flavor... not great, and the steak was really tough. Thirdly, we went on a "kids eat free day" and I did clarify that was indeed the case, I assured it was. But, when trying to pay, I was only shown the total on the pay tablet, so I asked to see the breakdown... the child's plate was charged. Fourthly, the drinks were supposed to be on happy hour, there was a huge sign stating so, but I was charged full price for that as well. Lastly, no family friendly bathroom, but they accept families and kids in diapers.
I had to have a manager come and fix my bill. Probably won't be returning to this place, definitely not for a...
