Great Starbucks location! Very highly recommended in the evenings after 7:30 in the summertime. The sun will be setting , and that beautiful porch outside allows for a peaceful South Texas Sunset experience! Since it is a Starbucks, whatever you order is going to be delicious, and I have yet to walk into any Starbucks where a barista displayed any sort of unhappiness! The folks who work at this Starbucks used to work at the one on North 10th Street, at least many of them did. Even the ones I have not met before are so friendly and eager to strike up friendly conversation that I look forward to just spending some time inside or out doing my reading or just thinking. The interior has nice tall ceilings, and some black rod iron interior decoration that with the hi windows and blinds makes for a uniquely attractive interior. What else can I say? Great experience inside or out, delicious Beverages and food, and great folks to take care of all of the...
Read moreI just had the worst experience here, it used to be my fav starbies, but the guy at the drive-thru was so rude, since the beginning his tone was just rude, if he hates his job he should just quit, It was not the typical friendly voice that meets us at Starbucks, usually everybody is just so happy. Then I asked for the whipped cream at the bottom of my drink (it might not be a big deal but it is to me, I hate the whipped on top, I just can’t drink it) , and I know it floats but that’s how I like it, anyway the guy put the whipped cream on top so I told him I had asked for it at the bottom he was so rude telling me that it was already the 3rd time trying to do it like that, saying that he wasn’t gonna be wasting his time on that and it wouldn’t stay, but it was so perfect sitting on top so I knew he hadn’t even tried, he put it on top, I know my drink and I know how it looks...
Read moreStopped by to get a grande sugar shaken espresso with sweet cream and the guy at the drive through was having a conversation with somebody else the whole time (which I didn’t mind) when I gave home my card to swipe it he did himself and gave Himself a tip without even asking. Handed me my card my coffee and closed the window I didn’t realize he had given himself a tip until my phone notified me of my total of $9.29. When my total was $7.29. He gave me no receipt so I have no way to check or complain. I’m not heading back to argue over $2. I’m not against tips when a job or service is deserving of one but giving mid service and taking upon yourself to give yourself a tip is so disrespectful. By the way the coffee was Mid too so definitely not...
