Will fill in details later but the pizza is good. Their overall score is well deserved... Ok returning to update with supporting details as to why I gave this place 5 Stars. Tiny place but dine in is available. Yes, the food is good, but there were service issues. Number one, the place was a mad house, which is a good thing. Means they're doing something right if you have a line to the door. Now it's an even better thing when you have staff members that although under pressure, still conduct themselves in a professional manner. The young man that was taking orders at the front. I would say it was anywhere from age 18 to 20 somewhere around there. He did seem a little overwhelmed, but he kept his composure. He didn't seem annoyed irritated or bothered. There was another young lady there of what appeared to be Southern Asian descent. Which this place (I would assume because you can see the kitchen staff is of Southern Asian descent) must be owned by someone of Southern Asian descent. I was suprised by this as it was my first time seeing a pizza place ran by this ethnic group, but they know what they're doing. It was good! Anyway apparently there was an order mixup or something that required clarification. She came from the back and approached the young man and they talked it out with no issue. He then turned to me and with me being a new customer, I had many questions. That alone can be quite annoying to some restaurant workers especially when there is a line. He patiently answered and put in my order. Now in the midst of waiting on my order(I chose to eat in so i was at a table seated) I got an important phone call and it required me drive somewhere... about 10 minutes away. I went up to the front and asked how long the wait would be and told the young man I needed to make a run and would be back. He said it was fine. Maybe I shouldn't have left my order number on the table then because when I returned my friends small pizza was on the table already. So that was a bit bothersome that they didn't hold the order back until I returned. When i got to the table grumbling about it sitting, the customer sitting nearby assured me it had barely been sitting 5 min and no one had approached it at all. So that was good. I went up to check on my food and was told 2 more minutes. Well it arrived but was undercooked. I got the calzone and the middle was not done all the way. You could visibly see the cheese as not all melted and you could see part of the dough was raw. I returned to the front and requested a refund because I had somewhere to be. I had no time to let them remake it and have time to eat it. This was supposed to be an eat and run kind of stop. She was professional and there was no issue, she just said to give her a minute. She came over and showed me that my purchase amount had been adjusted and apologized. As I'm preparing to leave I remembered I had ordered a dessert that was never brought out. I approached again and asked about that assuming it was forgotten and she said no it would be out in another 2-3 minutes. I asked her to make it go then and she did. Now on to the food. My friend that was with me shared a slice of their 10 inch pizza. It was good. The dessert I got is what they call their "messy marshmallow bread" It's simply a smores pizza and whoever made it forgot the graham crackers but it was still decent. Now because I really wanted the calzone I literally returned the next afternoon and ordered it again since i had time for them to remake it this time if need be. This time it was cooked to perfection and was so good. One thing to note, this is not a true calzone. For those of us used to Italian owned restaurants, calzones typically have meat cheese and ricotta... no sauce in them... this doesn't have ricotta. That was a let down. So this is technically a Stromboli not a calzone. Anyway I definitely recommend this place.

This place seemed popular. I don't know why. If you're sitting down, seat yourself - nobody else is going to do it. Once seated, figure out what you want and then go order at the cash register - nobody's going to ask you what you want. The pizza itself was done quickly but it wasn't anything special. They were out of forks when our pizza was done. We asked for one and 5 minutes later, still still didn't have it. When I asked again, the one guy handling the front of the store said: I'm doing the best that I can. And then he proceeded to do nothing about it. I ended up asking the kitchen staff for a fork since my kids pizza was getting cold. After a muttered "Chill dude" I finally had a fork. It looked clean. By this point there are like 5 tables in the place that haven't been cleared off from previous party sitting there. As new people are coming in they literally have to clear their own tables so that they can sit down. See attached pictures. By the time the one guy working the front started clearing one of the tables, he would literally pick up two plates and carry them in the back then come back and pick up two cups. I guess they don't have one of those bins for bussing tables? It was comical and sad at the same time. I don't know if we caught them on a day when they were really short-staffed but based on our experience we're not going back. There's better pizza with much better service at a comprable price elsewhere.

Raj, was a phenomenal host of the restaurant and a wonderful person to engage with immediately upon entering. I had both of my boys with me and he went above and beyond to accommodate for us and to make us feel at home. Not only was the service absolutely A+, the pizza was great! Both my boys and I cleaned our plates clean of a medium and a small plate (they’re 2 and 4 years old) - that’s a lot of pizza between us 3! We’ll be back again next time we’re in the area. Thank you for the fantastic service and experience Raj!

The wife and I used to love going here. Everyone was really friendly and made sure the place was clean and well taken care of. The last two times have been awful with last night (9/7/2018) being the worst ever. The counter person did not bother to greet us or say much of anything when we walked up. He whispered something that I assumed was how can I help you. We gave our order, medium Kitchen Sink with two drinks for here. That was at 7:35 PM.Most of the booths had dirty dishes on them so we sat in the awkward booth right by the door. Those booths were still dirty at 8:05 PM when I walked back up to the counter to see how much longer we needed to wait for our pizza. I stood there for 10 minutes watching the counter person running in and out of the kitchen, touching money, brushing his hair out of his face, touching food, but NEVER DID HE WASH HIS HANDS. I watched the cook with the bald spot on the back of his head reach up and grab the sides of his hair and make an expression similar to the Home Alone cover. He was completely overwhelmed by the fact the he had to make pizzas. But he went straight from scratching his head to stretching out the pizza dough he was slouched over. NEVER WASHING HIS HANDS. At this point I finally got the attention of the counter person, Michael was the name on the receipt, and I told him I wanted a refund. I had waited 45 minutes and watched that guy tough his head and touch food enough times to know there was no way I was going to eat there ever again. After my ticket was voided my wife told me about the man sitting across from us who had been waiting 90 minutes for his pizza. I saw him when we came in playing on his phone, I though he was done eating. He told us they made his first pizza wrong and he was still waiting for the remake.

This place used to be really good, but these two have ruined...

We have been dining at Durkin's Pizza since my daughter was 2. We thought the pizza place is homey and welcoming. But last Friday we visited Durkin's Pizza, we had the worst dining experience in our lives.

The staff with many rings on his hands took our order. He was not patient with us when we were trying to figure out what to order. After we ordered the pizza, he told us we could not eat there because there was no table. We told him that we drove there and would like to stay. So we waited for our pizza and the table.

Thirty minutes later, an white couple came in. They sat at the table where someone just finished eating. The staff cleaned the table and served them with a humble attitude.

I went to the man and whispered to him that we were before the American couple. I thought he was not intentionally ignoring us. He must know we were there waiting. To our biggest surprise, he said he could not do anything about it. When I asked for the manager, he said he is the manager. I could not believe how rude he was. Since the pizza was not ready, I asked for a refund. He said he was busy and could not give a S* to the BS. Then he asked for my credit card. I thought he refund me, and we left. One week later, I found out that he did not refund me.

Discrimination against Asian Americans! How barbaric. I can not believe the owner of Durkin Pizza, Michael Durkin hires this kind of person. A corporation will fire a staff like this...
