Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in McKinney

I have never in my life left a review nonetheless a bad review for a company, or someone working there, but I felt compelled to write this one because the service I got here was just terrible. I had gone to Deutch brothers the day before and ordered a sugar free Irish cream coffee with almond milk. I got it no problem. They were amazing ! However the next day I went again to get the SAME exact thing and this older (maybe 40s) blonde sporty looking lady who took my order was extremely condescending. I asked for the same thing and she acted as if she didn't know what I was asking, I told her again what I wanted and let her know that I had ordered it the day before and she goes "okay well just to educate you, it's called a kicker and it is breve" like ARE YOU SERIOUS. She kept pushing the matter and trying to give me something I DID NOT WANT. I just wanted and almond milk coffee with sugar free Irish cream I told her, but nope she didn't stop. She kept telling me the name was the kicker and the coffee had this.. I told her I understand but I do not want breve I want almond milk. Eventually I got so frustrated, And I just gave up. I wouldn't have minded the correction, but she acted like the God queen of all coffee houses. My cousin who was with me and I just looked baffled that she acted that way. And when we left her a tip she started acting super nice all of a sudden. I love this place, but employees like that definitely ruin...

Every visit to Dutch Bros Coffee is a great experience. The energy, friendliness, and good vibes from the staff instantly put you in a better mood. They greet you with genuine smiles and take the time to chat while getting your order just right. You can tell they actually enjoy what they do, which makes all the difference.

Their drinks are amazing, whether it’s coffee, teas, or energy drinks. My personal favorites are the Caramelizer and the Golden Eagle,🦅 perfectly balanced, creamy, and always consistent no matter which location I go to. I also love that they’re always willing to customize drinks, recommend new flavors, or even surprise you with something different if you’re feeling adventurous.

The line can look long sometimes, but the team moves fast and keeps things fun with music, conversation, and a great attitude. You never feel like just another customer in line, they make every visit personal.

I’d like to start by saying I usually really enjoy this location and adore the two brothers always working. However, this evening I was extremely disappointed with the lack of customer service and attitude I received. Everyone knows the “oh I asked for iced” mistake but if I began my order with three hot drinks and specified specifically to avoid this issue then who is in the wrong? Regardless of a mistake, a customer should never be given attitude back such as “they are lying they asked for iced don’t give them drinks.” In addition to her being unable to accept blame, when suggested we be offered the iced drinks for free she vehemently protested in the back as if we could not hear from the window. I did not accept the drinks because I wanted hot, as I asked and paid for. I didn’t catch the young blonde girls name but the way in which she handled the situation was extremely unprofessional. Starbucks may close early but at least the staff is always accommodating and able to accurately...
