I have been in the neighborhood for over 7 years now and used to frequent Shax's and always received great service and became very friendly with the owner!

I stopped going over the last 4 years because I now own a bar and I don't keep a lot of liquor at home anymore.

Today I went by as my parents are visiting and same good service he just didn't have what my dad likes to drink. I decided to hop over to the new store across 380 Royal Kings.

I walked in and was not greeted! I was walking all around the store looking for the item. I was the only customer in the store and not once did he asked me if I needed assistance. I ended up asking him for help..which he did fine.

Absolutely no interaction at all other than silently taking my money. I honestly don't think he verbally told me my total.

Out of habit I told him "thank you". But as I was walking out the door it upset me because I literally just spent $60 and not only did I not get greeted but he couldn't even say "thank you". Wow!

The audacity of some people.... I guess they don't need my $$$ never again...

This is a one and done visit for me. Absolutely awful. I visit liquor stores in the area often hunting for allocated bottles so I am familiar with all the tricks. This place takes the cake! First off, their point system is ludicrous. 1000 points just to purchase an allocated bottle that you can find pretty much anywhere around here. Insane. Also, their pricing is significantly higher than other nearby stores. This place won't be around long. I would avoid at all costs. Not friendly or helpful at all.
