We wish we could give it less than one star!
This was the 3rd and final time we will ever eat here. We gave them not one but three chances to serve us their award winning "BEST BURGER" for 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 on three diffrent ocassions .... what a dissapointment this meal was - again! It took close to 20 minutes for our meals to arrive - not because they were busy since there were only 8 other patrons at 1:30 pm on 11/19/13. It was because they were having such a great time in the kitchen behind the register laughing and carrying on. We wish the same amount of effort went in to our meal. We ordered the 1/3 lb cheese burger "Lunch Special" with cottage fries. The hamburger meat looked pieced together. I know they grind their own beef and make their own beef patties but this looked nothing like any hamburger we have ever ordered. Cooked well done - ugh! It probably was forgotten on the grill top during their play time. Dressed terribly with condiments falling out all over - cheese not melted. Torn bun with a hole in the top. There is nothing special about their "Lunch Special" cottage fries either. They ended up in our basket in a greasy glob - not one single fry was crispy and none longer than 2 inches in length. Probably old fries served or needing new fryer grease.
The atmosphere is fair at best. This location used to be an old Credit Union. JC's Burger "House" in StoneBridge Ranch of McKinney and the finish out is pieced together just like their hamburgers. It is nothing to write home about - really. We're not being picky but when you purchase 2 "Lunch Specials" and spend almost $20 dollars you're better off driving the few extra miles and eat at the old Dairy Queen on Virginia Parkway. Sorry JC's of StoneBridge - your other locations may serve better food to receive the "Best Burger" awards but this location has a lot to learn about food and customer service.
Hopefully things will improve for you to survive the StoneBridge clientele. If not you will end up just like "Amato's" 4 doors down from your location - closed never to...
Read moreThe food is good. Hot and fresh and in pretty decent portions. I certainly got more fries than I cared to eat and too much food is such a non-problem to have. So why is this not any higher in rating?
Pricing and safety. Goodness as each day goes by with prices rising more and more, this is simply not affordable anymore. One person getting a #1 with fries and a drink should not cost 20 dollars. I don't care that the burger is fresh I can't afford it. 15 was already kinda iffy feeling but there is just no way to responsibly pay that much for this. If this was a nice sit down family restaurant offering steaks and awesome blossoms and stuff too then maybe. Krusty Krab? Get out. "With cheese Mr. Squidward" indeed.
Other issue was safety. Maybe I just came on a bad day at a bad time, but this place seems to attract the riff raff. Whole mob of a family rushes in the doors shoving others aside and taking up a quarter of the restaurant with their kids running around everywhere else tripping people as the adults sneet at them. Sneering and flaring their nostrils at the other customers, not their kids. Loud. Messy. Literally grabbing and shaking their tables as they quite literally screech like animals. I... I don't know what I just witnessed. You can't make this up. I didn't exactly feel safe and got out of there ASAP. Cops can...
Read moreI hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my concern about a recent experience I had while picking up a delivery order from your establishment.
Upon arrival, I was instructed by an employee to confirm the order before it was handed to me. I confirmed the order in front of the employee, showing her the confirmation. However, the employee then placed the order beside her and did not want to hand it to me. She proceeded to ask me to confirm the order again, accompanied by a dismissive attitude and facial expression.
I reiterated that I had already confirmed the order in front of her, at which point I felt it necessary to take the bag and leave to ensure timely delivery. This experience was disheartening and unprofessional. It is imperative that employees treat all individuals, including delivery drivers, with respect and decency. Such behavior reflects poorly on the establishment and can negatively impact its reputation.
I urge you to address this matter and ensure that employees are trained to interact courteously and professionally with everyone. Respectful treatment of all individuals is essential to maintaining a positive working environment and upholding the reputation of your business.
Thank you for your attention to...
