I usually love this location (they are expanding because of how busy they are) and I usually go there to work on my school work or what-have-you and I enjoy the ambience. But I have never had to deal with their customer service skills until today and I have to say that apparently they don't have any. I ordered my usual drink, I've been getting it for several months and the girl who usually makes my drink was even there. Some girl I've never seen before (black hair, olive skin, brown eyes- don't know her name) took my order and had to make a snide remark about how I don't like coffee- my drink has extra syrup in it. And my first thought was- that's an upsale- why are you being snooty?! Then I get my drink and it tastes NOTHING like it usually does. I try to add a little ice to make it cold, maybe it's a temperature thing. Ultimately I just give it back. Now here's where NO customer service kicked in. They went about to make me another exactly like it, and I told them "Don't make another one. I don't want it." I was obviously distressed, and I went and sat back down. All three women behind the bar huddle and discuss the issue I just presented. (I know they're speaking about me because of the incessant looks my way, and them looking over the label of the remake in one girls hand) and instead of any of them approaching me, they stay behind the bar. Mind you- the store is not busy there is no rush. I was there for an hour, trying to focus on work through my frustration, and an hour later I come up to them and all three girls keep insisting they can remake it. Even the snide girl gives me a doe eyes look. I say "no, I just want my money back." They do ask me what was wrong with it and the girl who usually makes my drink really wants to know. I appreciate their curiosity of the situation. Then before leaving I am still upset by the girl who made the comment, so I ask her to give me a moment of her time so I can speak to her. She nods and walks away. She does not acknowledge any attempt to speak with me. She stands in the corner by the drive in window and doesn't come speak with me. I was not going to be rude to her. I was going to tell her how her words affected my experience and that she needs to be more mindful of what she says to customers. But unfortunately as most Starbucks locations don't have all the ingredients to make this beautiful concoction they do however have a way to make a green tea Frappuccino and a "dragonfruit" Frappuccino, add vanilla bean powder.
It's beautiful and delicious and doesn't seem as complicated as all the other ingredients, but what do I know I didn't make it. One day I'll become a barista and feel all the pain that you guys do. Read moreWe mobile ordered for drive thru and we accidentally pulled straight through without stopping at the order taker, which had a sign on it that says "Stop here if you need help ordering", so we thought we didn't need help ordering because we had already ordered online. We understand that we made a mistake but the staff handled it in a rude and unprofessional way. The first barista nicely asked us to stop at the order taker next time and then a second barista came to the window and she very rudely told us not to do that next time because she was working on other drinks. They had one of our drinks ready anyways, and had just skipped over the second one anyways to make someone else's drink.
