As a former server and bartender who trained under a chef from Hillstone restaurants, my standards for dining are sky-high. I notice everythingâfrom bathrooms, to how quickly trash is cleared, to bussing procedures. Add that to my expectations for excellent food and drinks, and let me tell you: Brunch District nailed it. From the very first step inside, I was greeted warmly by the hostess. Our server, Kanyon, was outstandingâattentive, personable, and professional. The food was savory and flavorful, the drinks were perfectly crafted, and every bite made me glad I chose to stop in (completely last minute, by the way). The details that impressed me most? Watching a staff member clean the bottoms of the tables. Thatâs the kind of pride and discipline I was trained with under Felipe Armenta, where even our hair had to be perfect and bathrooms spotless. To see that same level of excellence here speaks volumes. There was also a young lady who deserves a mentionâshe noticed me glancing around (I was just admiring the dĂŠcor and taking videos) and immediately stopped to ask if I needed anything. That kind of initiative tells me their training is top-notch. It doesnât have to be your table for you to care. Thatâs teamwork, and I love to see it. I hope they maintain THIS level of excellence even when they get busier and the routine sets in. Most places lose their edge because they slack off on the very things that made them thrive. Itâs rare for a restaurant to check all my boxes, but Brunch District didâfrom hospitality, to execution, to cleanliness. I will definitely be back, next time with my older daughters. Today it was just me and the baby, and it turned out to be such a special little outing. If the hours didnât clash with my mom life, Iâd honestly want to be part of this business myself. P.S. â Donât forget about the little people when you get a ton of business from my 3...
Read moreLet me start by saying this place has a really great vibe! The staff was super welcoming and made you feel at home right away. We went on a Saturday during brunch and just like any place plan to wait 30 minutes.
Overall the food was hit or miss. The presentation of the food was spot on, but it was a disappointment. The pancakes were WAY TOO DENSE and you had to wash it down with water and take smaller bits and it would get stuck in all places in your mouth. How can you mess up pancakes?
My wifeâs French Melt looked amazing, but fell short on flavor. The only thing that was seasoned was the sausage.
I had the Santa Fe Skillet and it was really good, except if you want a side of salsa they charge you for it. Any place you go to doesnât charge you for a tinny side of salsa.
This place is bright with cute decor and a lot of windows floor to ceiling. With that being said it was extremely hot inside that we didnât even want to drink the coffee. They need to add window tint or shades to the windows along with a few ceiling fans if the a/c canât keep up. Even our new born baby was turning red from the heat and we were in the middle of the restaurant.
This place could be our new weekly spot if they made a few tweaks. Try it out for yourselves and see...
Read moreThis Brunch House is such a cozy spot with a really good vibe! The staff are super welcoming and make you feel at home right away. Definitely plan to get there early though, since seating is limited and the wait can get long.
The highlight for me was the strawberry lemonade â not only was it refreshing, but it came with the cutest little ice teddy bear made out of the same lemonade. Such a fun touch!
Food overall was good, but the pancakes were a bit hard to cut, and I felt itâs a little pricey considering the variety on the menu. Still, the atmosphere and positive energy make it a nice place to enjoy brunch.
Would recommend if youâre looking for a cheerful brunch spot with something...
