Cattail Cafe — Restaurant in Meadville

This place is pretty cool, and the food was better than I expected. I stumbled across it while killing some time. At first, I wasn’t exactly sure where the restaurant was inside the building, but the owner/chef noticed me looking around and pointed me in the right direction. It’s tucked away in the back, and you place your order right at the doorway leading into the kitchen.

The owner seemed like a solid guy, and the menu he’s put together is eclectic and fresh—a nice change from most of the usual spots downtown. Looked like a very nice little place to go...never ate there so we thought we'd try it, walked in and first thing noticed inappropriate pictures on the wall. You can have your opinion but to display political disgusting pictures is offensive to your customers. let alone is disgusting and inappropriate. The breakfast burrito hit the sweet spot in terms of volume and quality to price. Tasted clean, healthy, and not unnecessarily greasy. Always appreciate a slight browning/crisping of the wrap. Surprised at how well it held together while eating. 10 to 15 minute wait which was easy to do since it's located in an art gallery.
