Pizza Villa — Restaurant in Meadville

My husband and I have been coming here for years all the way from the Erie area and have never had a negative experience until this past weekend. We ordered a half pizza with sausage and pepperoni (we don't like wasting food) with some other things and we were brought a whole pizza with just pepperoni and cheese. We informed our waitress that is not what we ordered and when she returned she stated that that's what they had written down and basically that's what we're getting. Then my husband asked if we could at least get the sausage and she responded so very rudely with "that's an extra $2". We declined and she sat the pizza down and never returned. The order had obviously been taken down wrong, which is fine, mistakes happen, but the server was pushy with an attitude that belongs in a different industry. We had already paid for a pizza we didn't order, the least she could have done is be pleasant. We won't be returning...

I'm not sure how this gets such a great rating. Came for lunch traveling through. This is by far the worse pizza I have EVER had! The crust taste like Box pizza - so does the sauce. They use canned mushrooms (haven't seen that in 40 years?) Found out later, which explains a lot of things, they precook their pizza with sauce and cheese and have them sitting there... then when you place your order, they add the toppings and pop it back in the oven. THIS is why the crust is hard the toppings are cold and the cheese is not melted on top. It came out fast (

I still believe Pizza Villa has the best and most unique pizza! The crust is absolutely fabulous, especially when you take a cold one to go & warm it up until it is slightly crispy!!! It is possible to choose your toppings- can even get a plain one without cheese and loaded up with veggies! They have delicious hot and banana peppers you can put on it! Or any other topping for that matter!! I like the taste of their pizza sauce and the fact that it doesn't have too much cheese on it! Add some hot peppers for an extra spicy/hot kick! Although haven't had in awhile, know their subs are good as well! You can eat in or take out!! Definitely recommend to visitors and residents!! Just...
