Place is unorganized with placing orders. DO NOT order from here. Food is not great and I waited over 20 mins for an order placed over the phone that was not ready for pickup. I was also denied the right to use the rest room in the interim as I was “only” picking up a door dash! This place needs to re-evaluate business professionalism and should receive serious business training. Staff are extremely rude to patrons (which I witnessed first hand in addition to my experience) and other reviews with bad ratings further corroborate my poor in store experience.
Update: I went back in the store later on that day to pick up another door dash order and instantly management attempted to swarm me and engage in an intense heated verbal match. I have never felt so threatened for my life due to their unliking of my review that I wrote. The woman in charge behaved as if she wanted to attack me and I feel I was discriminated against as I have a freedom to write any form of review; however, management decided to maliciously withhold the door dash order I was scheduled to pick up and unfortunately an innocent customer did not receive his food in a timely fashion as I had to cancel the order and therefore his order was placed back in the queue. My wife and I are decent cooks, and my family and I have restaurant experience, we ended up throwing our food out.
Our recommendations:
Get a steam cleaner with attachments for kitchen stove , fridge, ice bin, etc Dilute Krud Kutter and clean tables after people leave , and every hour as stuff is airborne, followed directly after either with diluted ammonia or bleach 3.Steam clean fridge & stove every evening after closure Clean floors at least twice a day Change out all plastic bins every morning before opening (take food, move to a clean dry plastic bin - food stays cleaner & fresher, forces inspection of all produce) Never re-use oil … if it's costing to much consider using oil blends … take a trip to CostCo in Durham, get several gallons wholesale for the week Put 10% of profit into a decor upgrade fund, once it's fairly decent use it to beautify the restaurant, upgrade menu, advertise...
Read moreI live just outside of Hillsborough and ordered from Yum Yum in Mebane because the Chinese restaurant was closed on Monday in Hillsborough. I asked that the food not be put in for 10 minutes as I wanted to make sure that I got it hot and could put in a food bag to keep hot for the 15 minute trip home. When I checked my order before leaving the store, I only had one egg roll in my bag, when I had repeated my order 2x to make sure that they got 2 shrimp egg rolls. I asked and they had only put in one on the order. I didn’t have time to wait for them to cook another as I was starving. I ate the egg roll in the car and it was pork instead of shrimp. Thank God that I am not allergic to pork, but my daughter, who the missing egg roll would have been for, is allergic to pork. Then, we both found black hairs in our shrimp lo meins. I will never go back. Disgusting and so disappointed that we had to throw away $35 of food and they had even gotten a $6 cash tip. $41 wasted of my hard earned money....
