I placed a pick up order. When I received a text saying my order was ready, I went in. Another female customer was waiting. There was one man behind the counter pulling dough and fixing pizzas. He didn't say anything. A few minutes later another younger man came up front and went to a different side of the kitchen and appeared to be boxing & labeling orders. He also said nothing. After a few minutes, the young man came up front, and handed the lady in front of me her order. He then asked me for my name and went to look for my order. It was fully completed and he told me it would be a few more minutes, apologizing. Two more customers came in. It took several minutes before the younger man finally acknowledged the waiting customers saying he would be with is as soon as he could. During this time the phone was ringing often, and the young man would have to stop and answer. One call was a a customer asking where his delivery was. The young man apologized, asking the caller to give the driver a few more minutes. I eventually I received my order, with the young man apologizing for the wait. Will I go back? Most DEFINITELY. Short staffed, these two men showed up & were working their tales off to get the orders done. My only suggestion to them would be to greet and acknowledge people who come in as soon as they can. I know they were frazzled but it really does make a difference whether or not they keep customers. The pizza & cheesebread was great by the way!...
Read moreI am an over the road trucker. Away from home many weeks at a time.
Today I felt like pizza. So I ordered through Papa Johns online delivery service.
First I had to setup an account, and really waste 10 minutes of my time, as I tried to order without setting up first. Then I called nearest store to confirm I had to signup for an account just to order.
After all this I placed my order and received a phone call from this same site location maybe ten minutes later.
The man asked me.
You ordered pizza online to be delivered to a truck stop?
I said. Yes.
He said, can you meet my driver up front in the store.
Now normally I would of just grabbed lunch somewhere throughout my day as I worked. Lately that has been kinda hard to do unless I want to eat hotdogs and Chips all day long.
I told the man, no.
With the virus scare on and everyone running around in homemade hazmat suits I also donât think itâs smart to venture inside where all the other people are at, when Iâm basically alone sitting in my truck when they hand me my order...
He said, we donât deliver to trucks.
I asked for my money back which who knows if theyâll actually return it to me. Maybe in 5-7 days Iâll know?
Thanks Papa Johns for helping me to eat during this...
Read moreThe worst service I've ever had. The manager, who happened to be the one answering the phone was very rude. I ordered two large pizzas with 2 toppings one with no sauce. So two pizzas exactly the same only one with no sauce. The guy taking my order asked which one do I want with no sauce I said it doesn't matter they are pretty much the same. He then said there's no need to talk to me that way which one do you want with no sauce. So I repeated but broke it down. One large pizza extra cheese pepperoni another large pizza extra cheese pepperoni no sauce. I did not repeat it with a tongue or even being upset which I wasn't. It was very loud in there so what I did was spoke slower and louder. And again he gave me attitude because I guess he thought I was being a smart-ass. No I just wanted to make sure my order was correct. This is the second time I have placed an order with them and the second time someone from their staff is giving me attitude.......
