Totally Awesome Comics — Local services in Mebane

My girlfriend found this shop about a year and a half ago when I started to get serious about comic collecting as a hobby. I’ve made the forty-five minute drive almost every week (sometimes twice a week) since then. They carry a nice selection of new releases and have a great selection of back issues at very reasonable prices as well as higher grade keys if you want something a little more high end. They also offer some fun collectibles and trading cards, and regularly hold Pokemon trading events.

The atmosphere in the shop is always fun and family friendly. The owners, Mikey and Mark, are very knowledgable and go out of their way to make sure you get what you’re looking for; even going so far as offering to find what you need if it isn’t currently in the shop.

Great local business!! Me, a pokemon enthusiast, comes here often to buy, sell, and trade. They will trade for store credit. Run by two nice and helpful guys. They give about 80% market value for store credit. trading events monthly. I would totally recommend this place. They are straightforward and honest about what kind of deal they are giving you. The only negatives are that they are not interested in cards below mint condition, and they will only pay about 60% market value in cash, ( which is understandable considering they must...

Hey so just wanted to give a positive review here on this thread. So Saturday we went to go and do some Pokémon trading. The staff there was super positive and actually treat my 7 yr old like a customer. He had tons of questions and the gentleman answered each question. He also gave some advise on how to collect and preserve the Pokémon collection. I feel bad that I forgot the gentleman name. Have bad memories issues.
