We had a gathering at JoJo's this week in their upstairs party room. We chose the pizza-sub-stromboli-salad menu which was $16 per person with tax and 18% gratuity added in. I was very disappointed in our service and experience. They are a BYOB restaurant, but did not provide any wine glasses, or ice. As one of the event planners, I asked the Jojo's server for ice several times but it never came. Also, they put out a tray of sub pieces with no condiments. When I specifically asked for mayo and mustard, they brought some mustard packets only. We had 34 people. After bringing us 4 pizzas, 1 tray of sandwiches and 2 strombolis, they did not bring up any other food. People were still hungry and looking for food. The other event coordinator for our group had to go downstairs and ask if they were bringing up more food. They said no. She told them she didn't think that was enough food for 34 people. Then, they said that OK, they would make more but they were very busy. Please keep in mind we booked this party a month ago! By the time they finally brought food up, people had stopped looking for it. And, the stromboli was very doughy and undercooked. We did run out of glasses, and had to request more silverware as well. We brought a cake as part of our party, and we had to pay them a $25 cake fee, but they did not cut the cake. All that gets is a stack of cake plates and some more forks. The only good thing I can say about this venue was that I didn't have to clean up at the end of the night. I will say that several years ago we held a similar party there with none of...
Read moreI went to JoJo's to pick up a Doordash order this evening, and was told that it would be a few minutes. So as I am there waiting, I noticed another doordash driver waiting for his order. They gave him his order, and he said he had also had a 2nd doordash order to pick up and showed the order on his phone and sat back down to wait. Then a few minutes later they told him his other order is ready. So he leaves, unknowingly taking with him some of food that was supposed to go with my order. By this point I have been waiting for about 15 minutes on my order, so I went up to inquire how much longer it was going to be, and they said 2 minutes. And at this point is when they finally realized they sent some of the food that was supposed to go with my order out with the other dasher that was there. And I swear they spent another several minutes just talking about and seemingly joking about it. And then yet again I went up to inquire - now knowing what had happened - how much longer will it be. Only then did they actually tell me what had happened and they were remaking the food for my order. I know people make mistakes, but I was very unhappy with the way it...
Read moreFood was about average for JoJo's, my son disliked his pasta due to sauce (wasn't marinara) but prices are always high, in fact they just went up! Pretty much everything I ordered just "happen to have gone up" it's meatballs and pizza, the stuffs not expensive to make, trust me I know! Regardless my bill when I calculated from their advertised online menu was around $27 after tax, (again high priced but I knew that) now I'm like Dustin Hoffman in "Rain man" with numbers, on point!! So when I picked up my order and the total was $33+ I was like... WHAT???? Our two half sandwiches were $6.97 each!!! A dollar more each than priced online! The meatball app for our son, (4 meatballs) was $5.49; online menu price $3.98!!! REALLY!! I will NEVER be back. Again, it meatballs and pizza, at those prices your food costs are below 13%. Quaility products and homemade dishes is what the claim is for the high prices. I didnt see fresh homemade pasta on the menu and certainly didn't taste any. Just another over priced pizza shop with murals on the wall if you ask me. The...
