I ordered the Buzzed smoothie, having not ordered it before, I asked the girl who was working there what the dominant flavor profile was (since coconut, coffee, and chocolate are pretty strong flavors) and what it was like… I did end up ordering it only to take 2 sips and realize it is pretty unpleasant. Whatever coffee is being used is pretty harsh in flavor (and I couldn’t tell if the chewy/crunchy grit was coffee grounds or something else) and combined with the chalkiness of whatever the protein powder is just leaves a bad flavor and texture in your mouth. I called to ask if I could switch it out as I cannot drink it and with it costing almost $10 and being a customer for years now, I assumed they may be generous in allowing me to replace it with something else. Of course, not something they have to do- but again, it’s just good business to keep customers returning. They said twice it’s their policy that they’re not able to do that. I like what they’re doing overall at the HoneyPost; that they’re family founded and keep a local feel to the place, I just don’t appreciate them not being able to work with me on this. It was too expensive for me not to at least call and ask for them to replace it. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll be choosing to spend my $ there...
Read moreTried this place out for the first time today and it was delicious. We got three bowls, one tropical bowl and two build-your-own. Placing orders on the kiosk was easy and pretty intuitive. It would be helpful if there was a small place to put comments or special requests (i.e. we wanted a bowl made with lite honey). Bowls were ready in a few minutes and the staff were really sweet. I loved the pitaya smothie base. The acai smoothie has a little too much banana for my taste but that's just personal preference. Overall, all the ingredients were fresh and tasty and the portions are generous when compared to Frutta and Playa.
The atmosphere is so homey, warm, and cozy. Little pumpkins decorate the counters and tables. They even have a pineapple bush with a tiny pineapple growing on it! They also sell T-shirts, candles, and little jars of honey. Overall quaint cozy place, fresh food, and staff as sweet as the fruit...
Read moreVery disappointing experience recently - I frequently go to honeypost, but my recent experience was extremely poor. Let me start by saying I spent a total of $45 on three Açai bowls ..
Some how my order ticket included sea moss on one of the bowls, I’m not even sure what that is nor did I select it.. I kindly let the staff know my order was incorrect, and was told it would be fixed…
I’m assuming who was the manager, came out to tell me that “sea moss” was selected and put on the ticket and nothing could be done, while trying to persuade me to eat it and like it ?? Not to mention, the same person said if they were to remake that bowl “they would be out of product”.. “Out” of what product ?
For the amount of money spent I assumed the error would have been fixed, but it unfortunately wasn’t…
I will be taking my...
