Update 5/11/23: David, thank you for your response it is appreciated. Yes, we will take you up on your offer. Probably will be a week or so until we can return to the restaurant. We will let you know when we will be there. Thank you again for taking the time to reply. Original review: WARNING: Never order take-out from this restaurant. We normally eat at PJs a minimum of two to three times a month. While a little expensive for what you get, the food is consistent and decent enough and the service isn't too bad. They're also one of the only restaurants in the Medford area that's open late. This past Wednesday delivery for the first time. The website was fine but nothing spectacular as far as trying to order. Delivery showed up about an hour. We live 2 miles away Problem one, a bacon chicken didn't contain any bacon at all. Problems two, the PJ we ordered without onions was smothered in onions. Problem Three, the famous fries that we ordered only filled about half the container and was about a third the size of what you would get at the restaurant. Problem four, our $10 order of onion, which were actually very good, consisted of a total of five rings varying in size. The receipt that we received with the order show the items as we actually expected them to arrive. Unfortunately, the food delivered did not match the receipt. Again, the bacon the onions etc. Absolutely disgraceful. We mentioned this to a lot of friends in the past few days. To our surprise, apparently it's a very well-known fact in the area that you do not order out or delivery from this restaurant. Everyone we've spoken so, seven of them, I've stated they will no longer order order from the restaurant unless they're eating there. Their orders have been messed up way too many times. We did not contact the restaurant directly but we did fill out their survey. Our friends have made it pretty clear that contact in the restaurant is a futile task at the response is typically no one cares. You're apparently welcome to bring back your food for a replacement. If that's what I wanted to do, I wouldn't have ordered delivery. Also wouldn't want to wait another hour to eat. Stay away from PJs delivery and takeout!

Stylish pub, good for sports and outside seating with stone fire pits I've been going to PJs for over a decade. Friday night acoustics outdoors on the patio was a favorite draw for me and my girls. They've changed the outdoor area now and it's appropriate though I miss the more casual feel of having the kids play tag in the trees w new friends. They made the most out of the small lawn there. Lol Pub food.. Haven't had a bad meal but there has been mediocre. PJs famous fries, shown in the photo as a side to the big Daddy burger - pulled pork atop of a tasty burger - is a definite, have to have on a visit. Cheese steak rolls with siracha ketchup are very good, though of course deep fried.. so, great to watch the games with but not advised for consumption on a regular basis. Nitro honey Porter is one of the few nitro I like considering smooth Guinness types of dark are my favorite but this is delicious and you can get just a whiff of the honey as the waitress sets it in front of you Waitstaff is decent though you are sometimes forgotten but it does get busy here. It's a leisurely place for chatting and sports viewing so the service matches that mindset. Hot caramel cookie ended this meal as did some papaya digestion tablets.

I feel like 3 stars is generous but I do love this PJ’s. I’ve grown up going here. But my experience today was disappointing. I got takeout and ordered cheesesteak nachos ($20). I asked for no caramelized onions which was clearly stated on the order slip(pic below) extra cheese and scallions on top (the cheese and scallions didn’t show in the order slip but I can guarantee you they were written in the additional notes section when I placed the order). When I went to pick up my order there were onions all throughout, no extra cheese and no scallions. Went back in and told them the mistake. My order came back out 2 minutes later which I thought was super quick but I was impressed. Turns out they just gave me back the same nachos with the caramelized onions and just drizzled extra cheese and put scallions on top. I had already left before I realized it was STILL incorrect. I didn’t think it would be that hard to fix. I ate them anyways because I was not wasting $20 but it’s a good thing I wasn’t allergic or something. I know mistakes happen but this isn’t the first time I’ve had issues with the nachos and today it didn’t seem like the time was taken to make sure the error was fixed correctly.

Really disappointed with our experience here tonight. Ordered wings and with the first one I felt something in my throat as I swallowed...turns our to be an extremely long hair dark blonde or light brown in color. (I have very curly red hair btw) I tried not to gag as I pulled it out of my throat. Looked for our server, Giana but did not see her. Several minutes passed and still no server. Frustrated I thought I would try another wing and just hope it was a one off kinda thing. Nope. 2 more very long almost straight hairs wrapped around my wings. Finally nearly 30 minutes after getting our food the server finally came back to the table and I showed her the hairs. The others at my table had already finished eating at this point. She was very nice and apologetic about it and offered new wings, but honestly at this point I had lost my appetite. At the same time we needed drink refills but she ran off and we could not locate her again for some time. I even stopped the hostess....a very petite young woman with long blonde wavy hair and asked her to get our server but she literally ignored me and went right back to the hostess stand and proceeded to stand there and talk to the other hostess. At this point I'm really irritated. None of have a drink and it's been a really long time and still no wings because the other people at my table are more than ready to leave. Finally the wings show up and it's not the right order... I really just wanted to leave at this point and at no time did a manager show up to apologize. Several more minutes pass and I'm not exaggerating....it took forever for the server to return with drinks even when i had to literally yell out to get her attention so we could finally order them, and she again apologizes for the mistake. It takes at least 10 minutes to get the wings back by this time I'm really hungry and decide I'll try one quick before we leave only to realize they had rushed them and the sauce was just dumped on and not cooked into the wings like usual and they are not good at all. Now the server had mentioned she took the wings off the bill but when I ordered them originally I asked if I could try a taste of the hot sauce to see if I liked it but she failed to mention it was 4$ for the sauce which I didn't even like and she didn't take it off the bill and I only wanted a sample.... Overall I was really unhappy and frustrated with the food and very slow service. Being as I have been a GM for several large restaurants I understand things going wrong (I also was a server for many years also), but when the servers are too busy standing around talking and the manager doesn't feel it's relevant to talk to the customer about all the issues it's...

I can't say enough about this fantastic sports bar and restaurant in South Jersey! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the lively and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is spot-on, with tasteful touches (even a canoe hanging over the bar) and a cozy vibe, ensuring there's not a bad seat in the house.

The drink selection is top-notch, featuring local craft brews, creative cocktails, and all your favorite classics. If you're a drink enthusiast, you'll love their rotating specials – there's always something new to try. And the food? Simply outstanding. The wings are crispy, juicy, and come in a variety of mouthwatering flavors. Their burgers are juicy and cooked to perfection, and the nachos are loaded with all the right toppings.

What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. They're incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure you have everything you need to enjoy your meal. The service is quick, whether you're at the bar or seated at a table, which is a huge plus.

And I must mention their fantastic outside patio! It's the perfect spot to enjoy your food and drinks, especially on a nice day. The patio is spacious, well-maintained, and offers a great atmosphere for dining al fresco.

This place is also a great spot for families. There's ample seating to accommodate groups of all sizes, making it ideal for family outings. Whether you're there to catch up with friends, enjoy a family outing, or just have a great meal, this bar restaurant never disappoints.

They've created the perfect blend of a great dining experience with amazing food and drinks. It's easily the best sports bar and restaurant in South Jersey to hang out with friends, enjoy a meal with family, and catch the game. Highly,...
