Bagels are back with a vengeance after Atkins was exposed. Apparently the proprietors of this particular location weren't quite ready for the mad rush. The lines were long and slow. The drive-thru wrapped around the entire building. And while we were inside waiting for our Baker's Dozen (apparently you don't have to wait in the main line if all you want is bagels, but no one told us), we experienced many customers who were angry after receiving the wrong order. The tables needed to be wiped down desperately but it didn't appear there were enough people to do that. However, they got the important stuff right. The bagels were fresh and yummy, just as I remember them in the 90s. And just as the batch of everything bagels dwindled down to the last one, someone brought a new batch from the ovens which made the angry New Yorker behind me very happy. If you have a food allergy, like peanuts, you might want to use caution and avoid this place during their growing pains. I couldn't get a straight answer if certain bagels were safe to eat for one person in our party. Also, this location appears to be doing everything they can to discourage online ordering. DoorDash options are extremely limited and inflexible. Update 3/2025: the service isn’t great even though they had 7 people behind the counter. We stood at the counter at least three minutes before anybody acknowledged us. And then someone who look like a manager coldly told us to move to the other register. There’s no signage that indicates this. The fake leather seats are cracked and some are ripped, and the ceiling has tons of dark dust on it. There’s holes in some of the drywall as well. The bagels were still good, but the dine-in experience seems like it’s starting to slide.

An excellent place for a bagel. This is a stand-alone restaurant located on the west side of Wickham road in front of the Goodwill store and south of the Home Depot. It sports a drive-through and a dine-in option. There are a limited number of spaces around the restaurant (about 8 in front and 4 in back) due to the Drive-through but there is an additional row of parking to the south for about 20 cars. The front entrance faces the road. Prior to entering the store, you pass through a low railing holding some tables and chairs for outside dining. Upon entry, the tables for inside dining are directly in front of you and could accommodate about 30 people. The drink station is to your right and the counter to order is to your left. The large menu board is directly behind the counter. They have bagels, spreads, and drinks in the display cases at the counter. You pay at the beginning and your food is prepared for you farther down the counter. I was greeted by the staff at the cash register who was friendly, professional, and helpful. I ordered a cinnamon raisin bagel, cut, toasted, and buttered. It was prepared quickly and was delicious. The restaurant was clean and orderly and the price was reasonable for the restaurant and the area. I would highly recommend this for anyone in the area craving a great bagel. Enjoy.

I frequent this chain regularly. I can see differences in each. Some of the Einstein's are definitely better than others. This is one of those better ones, with but a single small caveat (as per my G/F). The bagels in our order, both Applewood bacon, cheese and two eggs on ancient grain bagels were great. The G/F did note, disapprovingly, that the condiments were a bit sparse. The other stores have cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and cocoa to add to her coffee. Don't know what's up with why this branch does not. But all in all, a pleasant enough place. Shane took our order and was quite friendly and helpful. The G/F did note however that he needs a G/F of his own that will fatten him up a bit. ;-)) Edit 081218 Went back this A.M. w/ the G/F. Ditta was on the register and is such a sweet and helpful woman. Very patient and cheerful. Emmanuel the manager is a great guy. Always very helpful and funny.

I visited the store at 4840 Wickham Rd in Melbourne, FL on Sunday, April 15. I ordered a Avocado bagel with no seasoning. The cashier, Alyssa, was excellent, and not only put in the computer no seasoning, but also told the staff preparing the food. When I got the bagel, it had the seasoning. I attempted to eat it, as I don't like to complain or send food back. The seasoning was too strong, so I walked back up to Alyssa, who said, "oh, did they put seasoning on it?" I told her yes. She asked the staff to prepare another one, without seasoning. The employee making the bagel took quite a while, preparing other customers orders first. It took so long, my party was done eating before my bagel was tossed onto the counter and she called out, "avocado bagel" (I was standing right there waiting). I picked it up, and it had something sprinkled on it...no seeds, but something. I turned around and stated, there is still seasoning on this. The girl sweeping out the bagel display case, said, very snarkily, "it is just salt and pepper..that's what we put on it when you don't want the seasoning". It was said in a very condescending voice. I do not put pepper on my avocado toast, and did not want it. I threw it away, told her she needs to speak with less attitude and began to leave. Alyssa called out the manager on duty, who quickly responded, and apologized. The girl who was nasty had disappeared to the back. The manager gave me a card for a free bagel and asked if I wanted anything else. I took a plain bagel to go, as my party was done eating. The employees had been dancing around prior to this, and were not at all engaged...
