I have tried this place 2 additional times. HARD pass. Carnita- dry Meats lack any flavor.
The concept of a fast food place like taco bell yet better peeked my tummy for tacos. I heard mixed reviews about this place but was willing to give them a try. I ordered through the drive through. I ordered the 3 hard shell ground beef tacos - with no tomatoes and 3 soft shell with with ground beef no tomatoes. What I got was 3 hard with ground beef tacos and 3 hard tacos with chicken. Where in the world did chicken come from? Nothing I even said came close to chicken. So I figured I would make the best out of it. I tried it. The shell was fresh and crispy and the lettuce was fresh but both the ground beef and chicken lacked any flavor. I was so disappointed. The chicken was so chewy that I took one bite and left the other tacos go to waste. The ground beef was edible, flavorless, but editable so I ended up eating them. Although I found it interesting that there was some type of sour cream on that taco and not on the chicken one. Even though tacos bell has the adverse reaction to some people that eat their food, at least it has taste going down. I was expecting way more than I got here for flavor. After I placed my order they guy changed my total 3 different times. It was weird. Doubtful I will be back but doubtful they will be...
Read moreI have to honestly tell you, this place Rocks! I never usually leave reviews, but this one had to be. The food is AWESOME; me and wife have been sharing their Burro's Nachos for $9 bucks, for the last 2 weeks. It's plenty for me and my wife. We're totally stuffed afterwards. Fresh chips all day. And it's healthier nachos than I've ever seen before. In that I mean, they use real cheese and a LOT of different fresh produce. It almost looks like a salad, Great for the health conscious (like myself.) 😜
These people are SO incredibly attentive and nice, and I just found out today that they have specials EVERY day of the week. All 7 days! I'll be grabbing the Carnitas Burritos, next. Hard stuff to find, anywhere. My wife's gonna try the three tacos for $5 deal, next. Tuesday. The presentation of the food is beautiful, as well. I've worked in restaurants for 15 years and noticed things like this. Got home and actually took a picture of it. 😁
I couldn't recommend this place any more than this. I found out they ALSO have a BIG breakfast menu with a TON of stuff on it. The prices are really good, too. It's right across Babcock St from Melbourne High School, next to Starbucks. (It's the old Long John Silvers building) Try it once and you'll be hooked.. I GUARANTEE you, Kids. Tell em' PAUL sent ya. 😎✌️🌮🌮🌮 Thanks guys.. see you...
Read moreMy fair and honest review of the Flying Burro. 4 out of 5 stars.
The Atmosphere was quiet for lunch time, plenty of seats inside and out. A very sunny front patio, not much shade. The restrooms were small, but understanding this is an older building. Overall 5 out of 5 stars.
The food was perfect. We had an Enchilada plate and their Street Tacos. Perfect portion size and served in a takeaway dish for simple cleanup. Both were fairly priced and for 2 people to eat with drinks was $26. Overall 5 out of 5 stars.
The service was not very special, we could not decide what we wanted (as this was our 1st time here). The young lady at the counter seemed rushed and rolled her eyes when I said we needed a moment. The gentleman waiting behind us said the same thing and he got the same attitude. While this was the only negative, she did take our order and everything was made perfectly. Overall 4 out of 5 stars.
If it was not for the 1 negative, the Flying Burro would have a perfect 5 stars. On our next visit, we will re-rate them and provide an...
