From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that immediately sets the tone. The environment is welcoming, cheerful, and full of life—it’s clear this isn’t just a spot to grab a bite, but a place designed for families and friends to sit down, relax, and enjoy time together.
The food is absolutely outstanding. Every dish tastes like it was prepared with care, using fresh ingredients and recipes that balance comfort with flavor. The consistency in quality is impressive—you can tell they take pride in every plate they bring out.
Service here is another highlight. The staff are attentive without being overbearing, genuinely friendly, and they go above and beyond to make sure guests feel comfortable. It’s clear they care about more than just good food—they want to create a positive experience from start to finish.
What stands out most, though, is how family-oriented this cafe truly is. It’s not just “family-friendly” in name; it’s in the way the seating is arranged for groups, the way kids are welcomed with smiles instead of sighs, and the way the environment feels inclusive for all ages. Parents can relax knowing their kids are comfortable, and everyone can enjoy a meal together without stress.
Overall, Friendly Toast Cafe 2 is more than just a restaurant—it’s a community spot where food, service, and family values come together perfectly. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a place that checks all the boxes: great food, excellent service, and an environment where everyone...
Read morewas unclear if we were supposed to sit ourselves or wait, I was having a business meeting here tables were very small and cramped but we tried to make it work any way a few of my customers visit here and asked if I have been there yet. waitress never checked on our coffees and when I got my food the grits were thick and lumpy I had the rancho bene supposed to be a ranch style eggs Benedict with home fries. The eggs were clearly not pouched in boiling water maybe they were microwaved yoke was hard the salsa was way too much smothered over all of it the English muffin on bottom was wet and soggy and the home fries were boiled and not browned at all pretty bland. when waitress saw I was not eating it she never addressed me if there was something wrong with mine and avoided eye contact and we never got any more hot coffee served to us. When she came by with check she asked me if I was done and I said oh yeah I am done this was not to my liking at all she did say can I give you something else ...I said no when I went to pay for bill she never offered to take it off bill.. needless to say I paid bill and did not tip if she could not care how she serviced us I was not going to reward her for poor service. While we were there seemed like the whole staff was behind sitting bar area talking louder then the whole restaurant with all their personal conversations and speaking of other peoples business. They did greet the ones they knew warmly and said goodbyes to them but I never saw them refill any one else coffee either. I do not think we will...
Read moreThere is a notice on each table asking that the bill be paid in cash or personal check due to the "high cost of credit card processing," and pointing out a ATM machine in the restaurant. This was done with big garish black sharpie pen letters.
First, who pays for breakfast with a personal check? Second, those ATM's charge you about $3.00 (which are split with the business) and then your bank charges you about that too, to use them. Third, there was no mention on the notice that if a credit-or-debit card was used, a "service charge" would be applied, but it was. Also the server did not mention it when I handed her the card for payment.
You want to charge a service charge for credit cards, no problem but tell me in advance. And please dont insult my intelligence by offering me to pay $6.00 in ATM fees for my $18 breakfast.
Went in to check it out to become our new Sunday family breakfast stop for the 5 of us. This just put us off.
I enjoyed my eggs, grits, coffee and most of my pancake (the center was uncooked, but my wife liked that). My wife enjoyed her waffle with strawberries, but only two sliced strawberries for $1.50 didn't seem like...
