Sully's Backstreet Bar — Restaurant in Melbourne

Alex (if thats his name) was EXTREMELY rude. First, i was surprised to see him because i recognized him from Off The Traxx & i never had any issues with him. But, as i was speaking to my friend in private, he butted in & asked for my personal convo to be repeated & i said the bar was corny. As it was, there was only 5 people in there but i truly didnt care & was still going to hang out because it is a Thursday night. He says “theres the door, you can leave”, then he walked away. I thought that was weird of him to say but said whatever & still sat there waiting for my other friend. But he came back & had ANOTHER rude comment basically telling us to leave. So there was a commotion about that because who are you to include yourself into a private conversation & make rude comments as such. Mind you, i was about to buy a drink and just chill for a little because that was was my last stop before going home. I enjoy myself regardless if its a big crowd or not and i always tip very well. If you are THAT sensitive, pick another job! Im not no annoying drunk person just yelling out annoying things but i will remind you of your place ASAP & i did just thats & i dont feel bad about it either. Get over yourself …. I wont be...

Sully's is a really great local venue with live bands almost every weekend. Sully's has a wide variety of music from local bands to bands from out-of-town touring or artists from other parts of Florida. The venue has both an indoor bar to watch your preferred sport and an outdoor bar to sit at, stand and talk to people, or dance in front of the stage. Something special about this place are the staff who work there. The bartenders and staff are super friendly and always ready to take an order, you don't have to stand in line and wait which is something I have rarely seen at other venues around the state. Scheduling bands is always difficult, and the venue works with the most flexibility with artists to accommodate their shows. Often times bands have issues both in scheduling as well as logistics. The venue works with the bands to accommodate them, my best piece of advice is to call ahead and ask who is playing and the staff are always ready to let you know.

This place is GREAT for us!! We were there about 2-2:30p. Beth the bartender is very friendly as were the folks we met in the bar!!! Smoking is allowed inside, there's shuffle board, a pool table & steel tip darts. This is a cozy bar with good music. If you like a friendly, down to earth neighborhood bar? This is YOUR PLACE!!!
