A-TAN to B-Bad..... in all my years visiting this place we never had a problem.. food and service always amazing... this past Friday night the food and hibachi chef was great.. the young server with the glasses and ear ring terrible... my WIFE and I arrive first at the hibachi table.. followed buy a older gentleman and his young son.. a young couple rounded the table out.. 6 total people (3 pairs of guest)..the young Asian kid takes the orders and ask my wife and I only is this check together or seperate.... mind you it's only 6 people. The young couple to our left... which he did not ask them that.. and the older guy and his pre teen son.. common sense would be we are sitting next to each other just like the others so why would he only ask us that question.. fast forward to the end of the meal.. i attempted to use tap to pay and let him take my phone...he comes back and said he couldn't get it to work.. i said no problem i would go to my truck and get my wallet before we leave.. he leaves walks around but i notice him eyeing me.. at this point we are in deep conversation with the older gentleman he comes back stands over me just looking and finally ask am i going to the car beacuse i hadnt paid and said i would go get my wallet.. mind you we had eaten and was still there talking.. i had not gotten up to leave as the conversation was getting good.. so i ask my wife to pay him as him standing over me looking at me was weird...i didn't want him to think i was skipping out on the meal (which is how he made me feel) 30 plus visits to this place if not more over the years with not one bad vibe..until Friday night.. as a loyal patron I felt awkward from the together or separate question while not asking anyone else and at the end standing over us as if we had no intentions to pay.. Great food......

SCAM ALERT - They add 18% gratuity to every check regardless of party size but do not tell you like every reputable restaurant does with the “Additional tip” line

They automatically add 18% to every party size because they are unable to earn it otherwise. The food, service, atmosphere, and especially management are atrocious. The hibachi chefs do no show. Nothing. He overcooked every piece of protein, and had absolutely zero showmanship as a hibachi chef should. Keep in mind that their only notice is a nondescript sign on the front door regardless of party size. The server did not ring the items we asked for and we were told it was because she did speak English. Can that person not go back and tell the English-speaking staff so they can check to see what is needed?

This place was virtually empty on a Friday night and it’s easy to see why. They have long since forgotten about any aspect, idea, or concern of customer service. Why should they care about the customer if they preemptively charge 18% gratuity any time a customer is dumb enough to walk through their door? And they do it without disclosing it when the credit card slip arrives.

When I mentioned I got about 1 oz of beef in my hibachi meal, a while later they slammed down a plate of inedible and undercooked beef from somewhere in the back that was inedible and likely violated health code. When I asked for the manager, she refused to come see me. When no I finally saw her, she asked if I knew how to read English because the sign on the door told us about the 18% gratuity and suggested I go...

We went on for lunch on the Chinese side. I had a lunch special and ordered crab rangoons for the table. My wonton soup was delivered tepid. The crab rangoons were hard, not crispy, and dry inside. The soup and crab rangoons were pushed away. No one was interested in why they weren't eaten. My Kung Pao beef was adequate, but no more. My daughter's beef lomain was swimming in liquid and had no flavor. She was going to ask for a takeout box because she did not want them to know she wasn't going to eat it. I had to wave the server down for a refill of our beverages because once she left the food she came nowhere near us. For this we had an automatic tip of 18% added to our bill. We have come here in the past and have eaten on both sides. It is clear no one cares anymore, but they want their tip. I won't come back. I'm sure they will be sad. We just paid our bill and left, no fuss, after waiting for the bill. The server didn't come near us, and we had not said a word about anything being unacceptable. There was no service beyond the absolute minimum of delivery to the table. She didn't bring the bill, and my daughter never waa able to ask for the takeout box for the food she wasn't going to eat. After we reached the car, she told me she could see the server in the kitchen on her phone and eating. No one stepped in to cover her. No one apologized when we finally got up, left the food on the table, and asked to pay at the desk....
