Horrible Experience - Avoid This Location
I dropped off my Dell laptop at the uBreakiFix location at 3462 Plaza Ave, Memphis, TN in mid-November 2024 for a screen repair. Since I hadn’t used the laptop in some time, I also left the charger with it. The representatives assured me my laptop was in good hands and would be repaired properly.
Two weeks later, I received a call saying the laptop was ready. Due to my busy schedule, I picked it up a week after that, right before Christmas. When I arrived, I was handed my laptop—but no charger. I immediately asked for it, and the same representative assured me they would find it, explaining that repairs aren’t always done at their location. Trusting the process, I left, believing they would resolve the issue.
From there, it only got worse. I followed up repeatedly—calling for updates one week later, two weeks later, and even three weeks later. After four weeks of waiting, with no clear update, I asked to speak with a manager. Instead of hearing from management, the same representative called me back after an hour and claimed he reviewed their video footage and didn’t see me give him the charger.
This was shocking and frustrating because I know for certain I handed him the charger along with my laptop. I went to the store that same day and demanded to see the footage myself. What they showed me was laughable—it was a video of him handing me the receipt and me walking out. The footage didn’t even show me handing him the laptop at the start of the transaction, conveniently skipping the beginning entirely.
As a Black woman and a business owner, this situation felt especially disheartening. Instead of offering a sincere apology or trying to make things right, the representative was combative, rude, and treated me like I was lying. This isn’t just poor customer service; it’s downright disrespectful.

Read moreMy google phone screen went out so for warranty I went to ubreakifix in olive branch after about 4 hours they put a new screen on it and it seems fine until I got home and realized the face camera does work because they left a screen on it that was june 20th today September 24 my screen went out exactly the same way olive branch didn't have any new screens told me to go to the ubreakifix off union and the store was completely empty when I got there at 4:15 and got my phone back at like 6pm drove all the way home and the screen already the as a digital line going across it and its 6:40 I call and it rings two times he picks the phone up and hangs it up before anything is said I call by back and he picks up I explained i was just there and what happened and he said I will probably have to send it to Google since this is my third screen so again I started to explain to him this is only my second screen and the first one was not long ago and and also by ubreakifix and the camera stopped working when they put the screen on he hung up on me I tried calling back several times he would not answer I don't understand why I was never rude I just wanted information on what to do nexy I need my phone for work but apparently Google is giving there warranty work to just anyone because they can't fix Google and they don't do customer service why have that job if you can't take care of a phone your company most likely broke anyway from a faulty install then did slthe same thing again this time didn't even make it home!!!...

The associate I worked with was named Micah Williams. He was very understanding and patient. I had a very terrible situation where my phone screen was broken, Asurion warranty wouldn't fix it so they had to send me another one, and I couldn't use my normal card to pay because it was being flagged for fraud and obviously I couldn't access my phone to say that it wasn't!
During the entire time this is happening, the associate was patient and let me use their phone to make the calls I needed to my family, the bank and to Asurion to ensure I reached a the best possible resolution to my situation. I will be receiving my replacement device tomorrow and they will also transfer everything from the old device to the new device for me as well!
I could not ask for better service and better human beings than the ones at this location. Thank you so much for your help and I can't wait to finally have my phone back in my posession. You were all wonderful.
