Hey there, fellow food adventurers! Prepare yourselves for a flavor journey that will have your taste buds doing the Zorba dance of joy! Balqees Restaurant And Grill is like a magical portal that transports you straight to the shores of the Mediterranean, where the sun shines brighter and the food tastes like a delicious vacation for your mouth.

Let's start with the food, shall we? Their hummus is so smooth and creamy, it's like spreading happiness on a pita. It's like a love letter from chickpeas to your taste buds.

Now, let's talk about their kebab sandwiches. Oh, the kebabs! These little skewered pieces of perfection are grilled to juicy, mouthwatering perfection. One bite, and you'll have a flavor explosion that will make your taste buds shout, 'Opa!' The chicken kebabs are so tender, they practically melt in your mouth. And the lamb gyros? They're so flavorful, they could win a Nobel Prize for Meat Excellence.

But wait, there's more! The service at Balqees is as delightful as their food. The staff is as friendly as a bunch of kittens cuddling in a sunbeam. They'll make you feel like royalty, minus the fancy crown and the obligation to wave at strangers. Need extra napkins? Boom, they're there.

In conclusion, Balqees Restaurant And Grill is a Mediterranean oasis after every bite. With mouthwatering dishes, friendly service, that make your taste buds sing 'Hallelujah,' this place is a culinary treasure. So grab your appetite and prepare for a...

Having dined at well over 200 Thai restaurants across the country as a true connoisseur, I made a quick stop here while passing through from the Chicago area. The restaurant itself was pleasantly clean, and the young lady who served us was incredibly friendly. For my meal, I had the Tom yum soup, delicious. I ordered the basil stir-fry with steak, cooked medium-well. The beef quality was exceptionally high, and the stir-fry sauce had a fantastic flavor. While the steak could have been a bit more flavorful on its own, its premium quality truly stood out. My wife chose the stir-fry with vegetables, chicken, and tofu, and we were very pleased they could prepare it gluten-free, which was a huge bonus! Her sauce was lighter than mine but still delicious. Considering my vast experience with Thai cuisine, I'd personally give this restaurant an 8 out of 10. It's a testament to its quality that it ranks so highly among the hundreds of incredible Thai dishes...

I took out my dinner from this place. The review was superlative and so I was interested. I stopped by and the restaurant was empty! I ordered a mixed platter and it took more than 20 minutes to get the food ready. I was fine as the food was hot and fresh. The rice was the best part. Somehow they did not give any gyro, however, gave me a decent amount of other types of kebabs ( beef koobideh, or kofta?) I added some hummus with it. However, I expected some pita and a little salad. They only put some pickled vegetables and no pita. The chicken kebabs were very dry and hard! Even the beef koobideh/ kofta was also a bit on the drier side. They were bland too. Overall, the food was okay, however, nothing...

Absolutely delicious and full of flavor! We enjoyed authentic Yemeni food that truly impressed us. We started with two appetizers: the falafel, which came with a small serving of hummus, and the stuffed grape leaves. Both are fresh and tasty. For the main dishes, we had the mixed grill plate, liver plate, and foul. Everything was flavorful and well-seasoned. The chicken on the mixed grill was a bit dry; but, still had good flavor. The falafel were slightly crispier than expected; but, still enjoyable. The hummus portion was small, though they’re happy to give you more if you ask. Overall, we really enjoyed the experience and would definitely visit again. Highly recommend!
