This used to be my favorite spot. Been coming here since the Grand opening. I had good relationships with a couple of employees that work there. Gm ( Veronica) is excellent. But ever since they hired this black lady team lead or co-manager who looks like Lizzo, things have changed for the worst. I always request to wait on fresh cooked fish and it's never been a issue until I have to deal with her. I normally try not to go there whenever I see her or her car. She refuses to give me my request each time and she knew I was a regular Customer. Her attitude is dry and shouldn't be working there.
On 02/20/2023 around 5:05pm I come in to place a order, the store wasn't busy. I thought she was off but she was in the back with the door open which I could see the outside.. I believe she was having a cigarette break. It was 2 other cooks who could of made my food for fresh! Noooo she made sure it was her to Deny my request of fresh cooked fish. She didn't even wash her hands from coming outside she just put her gloves on (nasty)
Both cashier said he (I) would like his food fresh. She says... fish just came up. Which it didn't. I didn't want her to make my food anyway because of past issues with her. I requested a refund because of it and me and her got into a verbal were it was cussing each other out. She also made it known that she could make a phone call make something happen to me.
Although the Gm reached out and apologized and was kind, the fact remains this disgruntled employee still works there.

Read moreI understand some folks have a bad day. I understand that maybe some of the staff neglected to show up and also didn't tell anyone. I even understand wanting to close the dine in section for these perfectly adequate reasons. That said, my entire experience here was Terrible until we started eating it. Nice lady held the door as we walked up because the staff had stuck a floor wet sign in it to keep it open (so far so good). Walked in and started looking at the menu and the extremely rude girl at the counter said the dining room is closed. I asked if we needed to do an online order and wait because we know people who work at this location and wanted to support them. She sat there mumbling passive aggressive jabs at my family until we decided to just go to the drive through. We Waite in line for over 30 minutes and had finally put in an order online before getting to the ordering box, so we were told to pull around. They forgot half the sauces and all our drinks and were obviously annoyed that we asked them to correct this issue. Finally pulled over to a parking space to eat since they had locked the doors and found that no cutlery was included. Not wanting to deal with more of the BS, we just ate with our hands. Read moreI left this Captain D’s very disappointed with the service I received. From the moment I walked in, the employees showed no hospitality — no greeting, no smile, and not even basic eye contact. It made me feel unwelcome, as if my presence was a burden rather than appreciated.
The lack of customer service continued throughout my visit. When it came time to leave, I felt so uncomfortable that I didn’t even want to ask for a bag. Instead, I had to wrap my food in paper towels to take it home. That should never be the experience a paying customer has.
I truly hope management takes this feedback seriously. A warm greeting and basic courtesy go a long way in creating a positive dining experience. Right now, this location gives the impression that guests are not valued, and that’s something that needs to change.
My visit was exactly on Tuesday 9/16/2025 at 3:45PM if you need to see specifically who was scheduled on Drive-Through. Smaller girl.
