T J Mulligans — Restaurant in Memphis

Wow. Where to begin. This was my 3rd visit. The first visit was okay but I felt like I got overcharged for the beer I drank. Oh well.. I figured I had just lost track. I ordered a Togo order next time and the prices were quite different than what the online menu said. Ordered the TJ's tots for like a $1.50 more and wow they're just regular tater tots. This evening I went back for another go and same story. Sat down to enjoy a few 2 for 1 beers. Wanted to order a burger as it was the special. I asked the bartender if it was possible to get the burger special but have it blackened. "Sure, no problem. Do you want cheese?" Sure, why not. I asked what the "bar fries" were. The bartender said they were just regular fries only "crispy". As I went to the bathroom, my seat got taken at the bar. No comment from the bartender, instead got served my food from an outlying table. Finally got my check by going back up to the bar and yep, you guessed it. Charged for 7 beers when I only drank 5, charged for adding "blackened" to the burger, charged for adding cheese, and also charged for adding a side order of beer fries. Definitely won't be going back anymore. Wasn't fond of smelling like an ashtray after leaving anyways.

My husband got food poising from a chicken quesadilla he ate one Saturday night he is a regular along with his friends so I called the restaurant immediately the day after to make them aware of this. Managers do not work on Sundays okay so I called the Monday morning and spoke to Cassidy (mind you the server the day before was super friendly and apologetic as I was to them I understand that this happens sometimes but if you do not say something it will occur again and maybe to someone older that cannot handle food poisoning). The manager was not courteous at all just ready for a fight I guess made excuses before apologizing (not good at all) very bad attitude. I hope that someone higher or corporate will see this and train their managers to deal with situations like this better in the future. Sadly you do not want reviews about food poising on here but here it is. I would appreciate it if the review gets looked in to and a corporate number can be provided so I can speak to someone that cares. I am not expecting anything other than respect for customers that spend...

I have had great times at this place but in the past year management and taken a downward turn. I have spoken to Cassidy on many different occasions on issues inside the bar. She always has an attitude and will do the minimum at most to please a regular customer, she sits in her office and says that she is off the clock while she continues to make drinks at the bar for her self. Saturday, 5/25/24 I and many other people saw her walk out of the bar and try to fight a customer. The staff was holding her back and trying to resolve the issue, not the manager doing what management is supposed to do. I have met many friends and my partner at this location, it is a that one person, ”Cassidy” has ruined this establishment for me and many others. I will not be coming back until there is a change...
