Pharmacy techs need to learn to read the prescription. Then, do not have the head pharmacist make excuses for them, saying they lack training. These are critical medical emergencies.
3p wife emergency room
5p Walgreens drop off prescription told to return 730p. I asked the tech If they have this in stock. Answering yes. I said this is needed since it's an ER prescription
8p No text or call but went to get prescription still needed. Tech asked when you dropped it off at the counter. Said 5p. They looked. Return said it was never processed although at 5p it was scanned in, so scan it again told me to wait 20min
830p Head pharmacist says we can't fill this had codeine. Walgreens removed it. Asked why was I not told this at 5p when I asked the tech "this is from ER do you have this to fill" she said yes. The pharmacist says techs are not all well-trained. Never gave an apology for their wrong info on Walgreens behalf.
CVS and Kroger are all closed pharmacist told me to visit, none of which I've ever gotten a prescription from, so I am without the No. 1 prescription my wife needed for weeks for coughing issues. I shared everything with the pharmacist about her condition.
As I told the pharmacist, the prescription said CODEINE in bold letters. If they had caught it at the drop-off or even tried to fill it out on time and not misplace it, Walgreens could have notified us and we find a new pharmacy.
Thank you, Walgreens, for another painful night for my wife, even with an ER prescription to give her the first comfortable night after 7 days. She could be out of pain tonight no thanks to your Walgreens pharmacy staff!
I will return to the ER in the morning or CVS when they open to get this filled if possible.
I'm not mad because Walgreens couldn't fill it. I'm pissed at all the misses and fumbles that happened with Walgreens, where this could have been caught early, so I could regrouped to get the needed medicine for my...
Read moreTonight I waited in a long line, when I was next in line to be check out the night Manger Terry walked behind the counter and said very condescending what are you doing! The older gentleman stated waiting for change for this customer she said well pop that drawer open and I will give you some. At this point line behind me was getting even longer. She looks at me and says I will get you at next register. I stated I need to get my photo prints first, she said go over there and wait it will be awhile. She checked out about 6 more customers, once the older gentleman had finished he looked up and relized she had never help me just left me standing. It took him a total of maybe 30 seconds to walk over pick up prints and check me out. I know he was embarrassed. She was so rude and disrespectful not only to me the customer but her employee to.....really. Im not paying for someone to be rude to me.....I hope to speak with the main store Manger in the morning. By the way the older gentleman was awesome and did a great job to bad he has to work under her. Where is undercover boss when...
Read moreThe pharmacy has issues...huge issues...I use this pharmacy monthly for a number of prescriptions. There are often frustrations with picking up monthly prescriptions and finding they only filled 3 of the 4 etc. Which often results in me having to wait a few days and making a second trip to pick up the monthly prescriptions. The worse part though was the communication. If I would have had someone that spoke clearly explain the situation to me I would not have been as frustrated. But instead the pharmacy clerk mumbled, and did not speak clearly. I could not understand her at all which added immensely to my frustration. My spouse was also in the car and also could not understand a word the pharmacy clerk was saying, so it wasn't only me. If you are going to have someone interface with customers it is imperative that he/she speak clearly. I will be switching pharmacies because I've had it...
