Captain D's — Restaurant in Memphis

When I say I am sooooo done with this place I mean it....I came to this place the evening of 2/25/19 around 6 pm.Placed a drive thru order...Ordered a lemon pepper fish meal.At the speaker I asked if my food could be made freshly.The Manager lady with short red or orange haircut, took my order..Said everything is always made fresh..A LIE!..Was asked to pull up an wait for about 16 minutes....Food finally came out.so I parked in the parking lot of the restaurant to eat my food..Have way into eating my fish..the bites started tasting different. So i cut on my light to look at it...it was pinkish in sections on the inside. I instantly started to fell like i was gonna throw up..I went back inside to let them know it was something wrong with my food..Management lady was upset.didn't want to talk to me at all...she asked me about my receipt.even though she knew i was just in drive thru and waited to the side for so long for my food. I had to throw up right then..the ladies bathroom was locked up and the lobby trash can sitting in the middle of the lobby didn't have a trash bag in it...so what to do??...throw up was all over the floor..at this time noone asked if i was ok or anything.employees was just talking about what they not finna clean up...Management had an attitude with me because I got sick at they restaurant...smh...I can't believe this!! Health department needs to be involved at this location!!! B4 they kill someone with they carelessness. I was on my way to work when I got this meal.yes my stomach was upset the rest of the night....I am sooo done with this nasty place an messed up Management..the lady with the short orange...

This place of business needs to close down. It really does. I am afraid I was food poisoned today, simply from the shrimp. The food is not fresh whatsoever. The dining room is totally filthy and not one disinfectant in sight. Much less a wet rag or mop, hell, even a broom! The cashier was outside in her car, smoking and came inside approximately 4 minutes later, upset and aggravated that we needed to order something. We sat in the dining area and the employees were sitting at the table, cussing and yelling and talking bad about people. They were loud and very rude, obnoxious and unhelpful. The level of leadership that it takes to run ANY successful business is lacking intensely and needs to be...

Menu is very similar to long John silvers, but that is where the similarities end. Food at Capt d's is flavorless. The food at LJS is much better and they are right across the street. And if the 3 bullet holes in the front window aren't bad enough to scare you away, the customer service is. The cashier never smiled, she never said hello or thank you. And while we were eating, we could here a couple of the workers arguing in the back. One of the other employees had to tell them to keep it down because there were customers eating in the restaurant. We are from out of town and have never been to Capt. D's before. Thought we would try something new. Big mistake, we should have...
