After hearing about Carolina Watershed years ago via Facebook my family & I (group of four) decided to visit on Saturday 1/21 at @5pm sadly to say we were extremely disappointed with our experience overall. From the start the atmosphere and the service was terrible the place was empty when we arrived which was confusing we thought maybe it would become more lively as time went into the evening, a couple other tables showed up while we were there which was probably due to the cold weather. There were more vendors there selling products than there were customers which probably why that started packing up due to the lack of patrons. Reluctantly we started to order drinks & food. Sue the bartender was excellent she had to remade 2 drinks due to a tall guy with dreads being so very inexperienced. He had trouble making an amaretto sour and stawberry hennessy and he didn't feel bad about his lack of knowledge but Sue definitely picked up his slack. Once the stuffed turkey legs finally came out they were unexpectedly warm (no steam at all) and tasted extremely salty, the mac & cheese was completely tasteless. Needless to say we felt our visit was a complete waste of time and money since there's a 20% gratuity added to dine-in orders no matter the size of the party, 10% added to take-out orders. Right before we left a gentleman Freesol identified himself as the owner inquired about our experience as we were leaving I was happy to share the problems with service which I've shared here he then told us about the ongoing issues he's been faced with finding good help as well as an issue with acquiring a steady turkey leg vendor. To wrap up our discussion Freesol asked us to come back to receive a discount on our next visit but I'm afraid our experience was so bad we declined to return because of the lack of concern and customer service we received. I must say that Sue the bartender was the only reason why we stayed and did not walk out after walking in Sue had a glowing smile she was very nice and inviting and she knows how to make a drink accurately.

I wanted to like this place so badly, as it's been on my list to try for a while however, it was not a pleasant experience. I ordered the stuffed turkey leg with Mac and cheese and nothing had flavor. I'm not usually one to have to add salt, but even that didn't help. Maybe the food was off because they were extremely busy due to the playoff game, but that's no excuse for subpar food. The mac and cheese was cold as well. They provided the cheapest cutlery possible. Tools that allow you to properly interact with your meal is extremely important and not the place to cut costs. The best thing about the meal were the fries. The turkey leg made me nauseated, and the Mac and cheese was super bland. They charge a mandatory gratuity of 20%, but we had no waitress. We had to wait in a bar line to order. After being horribly disappointed with our meal, I waved a lady down for a to-go box as I figured maybe all wouldn't be lost, and they were out of boxes. I gave the extra star because the lady brought me a bag and she was polite. I usually say worth a try, but I'm sorry, the best thing I can do is provide you with my honest, sincerest review, so you can improve.

I’m going to call it a turkey leg with a twist!! I can say so many adjectives that would describe how great the turkey legs were. me and my fiancĂ© ended up going right before closing and we were so grateful that they were able to accommodate us. So we started off with a beer which was flat by the way but it’s OK because the turkey leg made up for it. I I ordered the angry drunk. Oh me oh my!! Really bold flavors. It was so satisfying. I could not stop eating it. The turkey leg was stuffed with rice that had beef Some type of sausage with a Tennessee whiskey sauce. I would definitely say the sauce made the turkey leg. It gave me a Smoky yet sweet vibe that my taste buds could not resist let me tell you yummy!! The turkey leg was giving me a Gumbo feeling it was really good very tasty I was very pleased. My fiancĂ© had the jive turkey and it was pretty good as well let’s just say overall experience was great service was very pleasant definitely would recommend this place!

I went here on a whim, after BBQ Fest downtown. I just wanted a turkey leg from somewhere, and I heard this place had em. Pay no attention to the parking, it is only parallel on the street, or in a nearby lot. Once you get inside, you really feel you're somewhere different. The staff are really courteous, from the folks at the front giving each customer their full attention throughout their ordering process, to the folks back on the smoker, helping to find you a place to sit. Our first visit, we were back by the smoker, the place was packed. We had ordered a garlic parmesan turkey leg and bbq nacho fries. I didn't expect much (being bar food) but I can honestly say the best turkey leg I've ever had in my life. Previous turkey legs I've had, from Cedar Point to Disney World, have always been like cave man clubs, you eat and chew out the gristle. These legs at Carolina Watershed came out spread open, smothered in garlic parmesan. The meat fell apart. If you grab the bone, it lifts out, so tender and juicy; and so full of flavor. Second was the BBQ nachos fries, also surprised me. They weren't simple bar food. They were better than the festival. I told my friends about this place, and we all went. (Nothing is as good the second time, so I was hoping it lived up to all I talked about.) It did. Everyone loved it. I recommend this place...

I would recommend this venue for an event space. Carolina Watershed has great food, drinks, and service along with a wonderful layout and mini waterfalls. My guests loved it. We ordered smoked sausages and cheese board and the smoked wings from the catering menu which were all delicious! The smoked wings are bigger than expected. They also were able to play our playlist for our graduation celebration, along with decorate how we pleased. They helped with take down and the manager at Carolina Watershed is very helpful and easy to speak with (loved him)!

Yet, the entire event organization is highly confusing and unclear. The event organizers are friendly, but yet seem careless at times and there are no clear rules. It was stressful planning an event with Loflin Yard/Carolina Watershed and they didn't seem accommodating. Eventually my space was moved to Carolina Watershed and I had a somewhat better experience with the organizer Sadie, but things were overall still unclear. She still took more time to see the vision and review all details of the event and answer questions more fully than the event organizer at Loflin which I appreciated! If you want to put up with confusion and stress of the event then go for it - but beware - you'll end up having a great event but your sanity may...
