Wow, I can't begin to describe the reasons for my low review... I guess I'll start at the beginning. A couple of days ago I went in to see if they had any crawfish. There was nobody standing behind the bar I kept walking around the bar finally I see one woman where the waitresses would be. I went back in front of the bar and waited and waited, finally the same woman I saw earlier comes down the bar and brazenly asked me what you could do for me and when I asked her if they had crawfish she was very short in her answer and telling me I had the wrong location. I went to go tell her that I thought I saw on the website that they had him but she cut me off short again not even let me finish my sentence. This progressed in the same manner until I just told her that I would not come back. Granted I'm writing the short version of this, but that's not the worst part. Today I called and try to talk to the district manager for all the locations and he acted the same way. In fact not only did he continually interrupt me and not allow me to describe the situation he proceeded to tell me that he had already talked to the young lady who is the bartender and also stated that the owner of all the TJ mulligans was sitting at the bar drinking and told him that I was rude to the bartender. I could understand if I was someone who was drunk but I only was asking a simple question and wanted to courteousness of polite answers. This manager told me that the owner refuse to talk to me and if there was no number I can call to talk to them and stated that 'he was done talking to me!' and that 'I had nothing to say that he wanted to hear'. Then he just hung up on me. I tried to call back and still talk to him and ask to speak to the owner and he hung up on me again. Maybe I'm just getting old but I remember a time when patrons were treated cordially and with some respect. I don't know if the owner was sitting at the bar that night or if this is only the manager stating that but hopefully if enough people stop visiting and spending their money with them but their policy to treat people better will change. I do know that in all my 26 years of owning my company I would not allow my employees to treat my customers that way and I would definitely not treat a...
Read moreFirst and Last time here!!! Walk through the door the security was very nice. My husband and I came to pick up a To Go order. We sit at the bar and finally some bar tender/waitress whatever she was not sure comes up trying to take a order. I tell her we are here to pick up and call in order she immediately get a attitude looking at her watch saying “when did you call it in a long time ago cause we don’t take to go orders after 9” If we called in before 9 and was told 20 minutes you do the math we don’t live but 3 min from the place. She seem like she had been under the influence because anyone with good customer service would have checked with someone else to see if a order was placed. Another girl overheard trying to let her know she had it she continues to be rude. My husband wanted to stay and have some drinks but after that experience with her I would never step a foot in that place. She caused this business to loose extra money she didn’t know who we was or what our bank accounts looked like. When placing the order no name was taking so in my mind we must have been last order so they would know exactly who order it was. Regardless if she felt “we placed order a long time ago” good customers would have been the core or the interaction. On top of all that I couldn’t even eat after all that I’m 5 months pregnant and was craving corn beef and she spoiled my appetite. I’m calling to speak to manager it rubbed me the wrong way I didn’t even get her name. That one star is literally for the...
Read moreThere was trivia AND a poker tournament going on at the same time, but they only had ONE server scheduled to wait on the entire PACKED restaurant! And she got BOTH of our orders wrong, along with the table next to ours and a lady's who I met in the restroom. She also brought the appetizer out WITH the meals, rather than BEFORE, so she didn't time the ringing up of the orders correctly. Now, this was the FOURTH time in a year she'd waited on us (and the FOURTH time she gave us sh%$&#y service!), so I KNOW she's not a new server! I'VE waited tables before for years, and there were times I had huge crowds to serve, so I DO know what it's like... But it's easy if you're organized and actually write things down, ring things up at the right time, CHECK ON YOUR CUSTOMERS IN A TIMELY MANNER, and use runners when neccessary (like she DID!)... And you can STILL do your side work along the way! It's not rocket science. But I put the blame on TJ Mulligan's for poor management on those trivia nights, ESPECIALLY this past Wednesday night, which is what I'm specifically reviewing right now. Had they PROPERLY staffed for two LARGE events that they knew WELL in advance were happening, MAYBE this server wouldn't have made so many mistakes. HOWEVER, given that this was the FOURTH time she'd been terrible, perhaps not. STILL, the Manager in charge of scheduling ABSOLUTELY SHOULD have scheduled at LEAST two servers, preferably three, for that night! SHAME ON TJ MULLIGAN'S AT...
