This was one of the absolute worst experiences my wife an I have ever had together at a restaurant. We walked in, were seated in the bar area at a booth and my wife ordered a Bloody Mary. When the server ordered it from the bar there were no other bar orders to be made. We watched as the very young bartender proceeded to look up on her phone how to make the drink. She then was given another order and made those drinks before making my wife's. Rinse and repeat, she was given another drink order from another server and proceeded to make that one. Finally after nearly 14 minutes "and a nearly empty bar", she asked one of the patrons at the bar how to make a Bloody Mary and how much vodka to put in it. We asked the server what was taking so long as it literally takes 30 seconds to make a Bloody Mary and he said he would check on it. When he did the bartender was overheard saying "They don't mean nothing to me"! At that point my wife asked for just a Coke as the server went to get her Coke, another server brought the Bloody Mary out, 17 minutes after ordering it! By the way, this server spent nearly the entire time we were there standing at the bar playing with what we were to assume was her boyfriend. We both took one sip from the drink and nearly choked, the only thing that was correct was that it was RED. No garnish and absolutely hideous. I asked to speak to a manager, she appeared nearly 10 minutes later, never said hello, what seems to be the problem, nothing. I briefly described the encounter and all she could say was "I'll take it off the table"! Not I'm sorry, not can we get you anything else. No apology and certainly no professionalism. This is getting longer than I wanted bu then to the food. My wife ordered Ultimate Nachos and EVERY chip was burnt to a crisp and went downhill from there. I ordered the Cajun Pasta. There was nothing Cajun about it, it was primarily Pasta Alfredo with a few overcooked shrimp and dried out chicken. +++It was Hot though! I also had to ask midway through our meal for the Garlic Bread that came with the meal. As a GM of a 4M restaurant myself, i very rarely if ever comment as I know what the struggles are for most restaurants these days but what we experienced the other night was strictly a lack of training and lack of commitment from the management to train, teach and coach their staff on what is important...Customer Service and Good Food. Guests will usually overlook other aspects of the restaurant if those 2 areas are done well. I hope for the long term survival of the restaurant and the community that someone at Corporate makes some changes and improves the dining experiences of your guests. ...
Read moreToday I decided to try the viral TikTok triple dipper. Unfortunately, my visit was an unpleasant one. I was greeted by a young lady with a brownish, a little red hair. She also, had red eyebrows! This young lady was the most unfriendly host I have ever encountered. She did not acknowledge it at all! She grabbed the menus and sat them at a booth! I was politely waiting to hear “Please Follow Me!” Once seated I was greeted by our server Tony. I thought to myself okay this should go better than the host. Unfortunately, I was mistaken Tony was rude with a snarky attitude. After the meal took 20 minutes to arrive I was able to enjoy my food. I was beginning to ask Tony for extra buffalo sauce but before I could he walked off. I sat and ate my food and watched how the employees joked and laughed while customers looked disappointed in the wait. At each table, I glanced at the customers who looked disappointed and annoyed! I knew that my customer experience was dreadful for all. As it was time to pay I noticed that the check details didn't match what I ordered. I got up to have a talk with Tony regarding my ticket because he never came back to check in on me. Tony suggested that I pay the ticket and overlooked the check details. I told Tony I did not feel comfortable paying for what I didn't order. He gave me a look that very much showed he was annoyed. Instead of asking for help immediately, Tony continued to laugh and joke with the employees. I asked another server for the manager! Instead of that server grabbing a manager he told Tony! I could hear them both joke about the difficulties of the check details. He finally received assistance from another staff regarding the check details. While I was leaving another customer approached the manager about her dissatisfaction with the poor communication. I figured it was the perfect time to address my concerns! I even told the manager I never received the dessert I ordered. The manager's excuse was her staff was overworked due to employees calling in! She didn't validate my concerns or make me feel like I mattered. This has been the worst customer experience I have ever encountered. If you're interested in visiting this established please do not...
Read moreThe food: My wife ordered Tilapia, but got chicken. I ordered Chicken Crispers with fries and their Southwestern mac and cheese, but I got the Crispers (I swear these have shrunk over the years) with corn on the cob. I didn't touch my corn on the cob, but when I told her about the mix-up, she told me I needed to give the corn on the cob to her. It just seemed a bit bizarre. Once I did get the Southwestern mac and cheese (dollar extra), it wasn't breaded, was barely warm, and had a few pieces of jalapenos and breadcrumbs sprinkled on top. Looked NOTHING like the picture. Our friends didn't get their appetizer until right before our meals came out.
The service: Our waitress had this awkward humor about her: she said that she and her partner would be serving us, but then had to backtrack and say that it wasn't her life partner and just her serving partner (none of us were thinking that anyways), and attempted to speak in a British accent, but it came out in a Spanish accent, to which we all laughed. I understand that you want to build rapport with those you're serving, but forcing some kind of awkward humor repeatedly isn't the way to go. I don't remember what she did or said the last time, but as she walked away, she turned and said "Don't laugh at me!" and we weren't sure if she was doing the awkward humor thing or if she was being serious.
The aftermath: My wife couldn't finish her meal and ended up sick for over 2 hours.
We won't be eating at...
