Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in Memphis

Don't go to this one! I drove my mom to this one because it's the one she wanted to go too. Ive been to this multiple times and Already know about the bad service they have. I tried telling my mom but I wished she would have listened to me because it would have saved her money. This got to be the worst Church's chicken in Memphis. I'd rather go to the one in Orange mound where you can get shot than the one on Getwell. Not only was the food bad but the service was straight up horrible! When you first pull up to the speaker, you are greeted with an nasty attitude right off the bat. Like you did something to her. My mom asks for a sweet potato casserole.( My mom thought they still had it on the menu. She haven't been to CC in years) Then. She gonna scream, "We don't have sweet potatoe casserole." I said ok. My mom told me to ask them for coleslaw. I told her that. Then she gonna say, "We don't have coleslaw." I said, "How long does it take?" She gonna respond with a nasty attitude again and say, "An hour." I looked at my mom and said, "How the heck does coleslaw take an hour? She lying. She just lazy. She wants to give us something that's already prepared." My mom then told me to tell her to ask for Mac and cheese and fries. They had that. I pulled up. Paid for the food. She gave us the food. My mom then reached over me and asked the lady, "I thought it came with tea." She gone respond with an loud, nasty attitude again and say, "It doesn't come with that." My mom then ask for a cup of water and she gone ignore my mother. Mane, it took everything in God's power for me not to go off on this lady. I just drove off. Then, I took my mom home. The food was very disappointing. The Mac and cheese was super soggy and burnt. The Biscuits was undercooked on the inside and dry on the outside. The fries tasted old like they been sitting up. The only good thing was the chicken. It was waste of money. The lady named Takaila T needs to be fired forreal. She got some type of issues going on with her. She always have an attitude. Sooo, here's a bit about my awful experience here. Firstly, Church's has a prerecorded message that comes on the drive thru speaker. It sounds super friendly, and from there, you think you're going to get that same energy from the actual person taking your order. Nope. I was asked to hold as soon as the message was over. I waited 4, maybe 5 minutes before someone took my order. Now you might be asking why didn't you just drive off, but I was stuck in the line. Next I waited another 12-15 minutes behind 3 cars, but here's the kicker. When I got to the window, the lady with the missing teeth on the side greets me with what did you order...? Once again I placed my order. After I received my food, I asked for some honey. Miss missing teeth says we don't have any, then suddenly another employee pulls open a drawer full of honey and puts it in my bag. No, I would not recommend this place unless you have the patience of Job and just aren't accustomed to great...

I was so excited when I saw Church's Chicken in my neighborhood. I love their food. From the first time I visited this location there was always a problem either they're out of something or they put what they want in your bag. The Customer service is awful. Upon visiting this location out of 6 times only once was the food and the order on point. This morning 10:30am pulled to the drive thru "no slaw", that's ok. Ordered 20 piece mixed priced at 28.00. No thank you, no napkins, no condiments, nor anything offered. This early I know all is well with my food. Here's to my last visit here. Chicken fried so hard until it was dry inside with some pieces. Biscuits were superb, mac and cheese and stringbeans straight out the cooler. This is my final appearance here. I guess my business just wasn't appreciated. If there's no customer service skills there's no love in the food. Thanks for the opportunity...
