This is the worst McDonalds in Memphis. The service is absolutely piss poor and thatâs a compliment compared to what I want to say. The managers are beyond rude and disrespectful. I placed a mobile order this morning and my husband had the phone and was in line waiting. It was before 11 that he got there. They stop serving breakfast so we were fine. When he got to the speaker he told her the number at the speaker and she said ok well weâre doing shift change and swapping drawers. He gets to the window and they say hey well itâs after 11 so itâs cancelled. Well he was sitting there for over 5 minutes waiting on shift change so we ask to speak to a manager. The manager says well now itâs cancelled so youâll have to get your money back in the app or order lunch. I said well it mightâve cancelled the mobile order but can you just ring it up and I pay for it. She told me no. I said well whatâs your name and she slammed the window in our face and walked off. Horrible customer service!!!!! And donât go here after 8:30pm because no one comes to the speaker. There is a manager with dreads that look like theyâre green or some color is absolutely no help. We waited in line 30 minutes. People were driving off. So we got to the speaker and waited about 10 minutes and no one came. So I drove to the window and was like is something wrong with the speaker. She said no. I said well weâve been waiting a while. She said well I donât have a cook and I donât know how to work the grill so we donât have any food until I can get another cook to come in. How does the manager not know how to work the grill???!!!! How!!! I went to the one on Winchester. They just need to shut this McDonaldâs down!!! When you ask for the number of the GM or store supervisor or the name they act like they donât know. And itâs not posted anywhere. Itâs just a horrible store.    Read moreMc Donalds's is really slipping with their customer service. I went to three 24 hr McDonald's when I got off the work Saturday morning. One restaurant had it's lights on and no one was in there this restaurant was in the Winchester Riverdale area. The second one was in the Shelby Dr. Riverdale area. She finally comes on the mic and says hold on a sec and it took her almost 5 minutes before she came back and said go ahead with your order, after I placed my order she never came back and said anything so I took it upon myself to pull around to the window. Now it's 4 o'clock in the morning and I'm starving. I get to the window only for her to tell me then that the system was down and they were only taking cash. I said you didn't tell me that and she replies yes I did you must didn't hear me. I was so infuriated I just pulled off. Yhe last McDonald's I went to was down on Winchester and Mendenhall going on 5am their system was down as well and I had to get out of line and find an atm, get money out go back wait once again to have someone take my order and wait forever for my food. At least it was fresh. McDonald's I'm sorry but you have lost a customer. Your food costs too much for the type of service I receive from people who have no customer service skills. Another night when I went to the Riversale/Winchester McDonald's when I pulled up to the window to get my food the young girl was more concerned with sweeping than handing me my food and the muffins were so hard I couldn't eat it.    Read moreOrdered through the app, expected to be in line a very short period of time. Instead, i sat in line for atleast 10 minutes for food i already paid for. And the girl working at the window, for both lanes, took everyoneâs order before mine despite me being there long before they were as they continued arriving instead of alternating lanes. A gentleman who was also in line waiting (moved from my line to the other since it was now empty) informed the girl that I was still waiting and she replied with âi knowâ. More than likely not revisiting this location again any time soon.
Edit 1/16/25: exact same situation but between 3:15-3:30pm. There was 1 car ahead of me, at the other order point (itâs a 2-to-1 lane). Their order was taken & when it was my turn, the employee said âCan you wait one moment?â. Sure. Next thing i know, 5-6 cars who pulled in AFTER me get their orders taken immediately & now the line is wrapped around the drive thru and i still havenât even gotten my order taken. Itâs been 15 minutes by this point since i was literally blocked into the line. I was ignored & forgotten about, even after saying âHello??â I ended up backing up & Leaving to go somewhere else after the person behind me joined the other lane that seemed to be getting their orders taken quick.
