Get the pork char siu banh mi. Best banh mi I've had in Memphis including from Paris Banh Mi in Collierville. French bread is crispy and airy and served buttered to accentuate the flavor of the bread. The generous char siu pork is savory and slightly sweet and is trimmed lean with no gristle, just tender pork. The pickled vegetables are crisp and bright adding great contrast to the savory pork. The cafe is a wonderful hang-out/study spot with a great patio, plenty of seating, and a clean, modern, turn-of-the-century interior preserving the original home layout similar to the old, defunct Molly Fontaine's on millionaire's row in the medical district. This is a much more comfortable and inviting space than a corporate StarBucks if meeting friends for conversation, classmates for study, or solo study. Parking is available in the street as well as in back with access from the large parking lot west of the restaurant. The tea is great with a good variety including smoothies and coffee for those who don't like milk tea. This is a great local restaurant and a unique experience in midtown....
Read moreThe employees here are very friendly and the food is nothing short of incredible. We ordered the Vietnamese Coffee, and it was delicious. The bubble waffles were unavailable when we visited, but we were offered their creme brulee, which was gorgeous, creamy, and topped with fruit. The orange chicken is a must-have, it's crispy and the flavor is the best I've ever had. The prices for the food are a bit steep for the small portion sizes, but I'm happy to pay the premium price as long as the food stays high-quality. The location is wonderful, Peabody is a lovely scenic street and this place would be perfect to take a stroll to if you're in the medical district. You will love this place if you love Boba and great food! The atmosphere is lovely too. I can't recommend...

I ordered a Shrimp Spring Roll, and my friend decided to try the Banh Mi Sandwich, we both had a nice coffee, the waitress took our order at the counter and we found a small table to sit and wait for our lunch. We loved it! We both really enjoyed everything we ordered and we will definitely be back!! Very fun atmosphere and great wait staff, the owner came by our table to talk asked us about our experience with the cafe. He told us about the upstairs dining room and we even went upstairs to check it out!! Nice space for Dinner with several rooms with a seating area for drinks before or...
