Food is pretty good, always happy to see a thriving black owned business!

The issue I had was with the service itself, both times i’ve come in the person taking my order (different people) have been very cold and offstandish. The first time I went it wasn’t very welcoming to someone who’s never been to the place and it was disappointing after hearing many great reviews to kind of be treated more like a burden than a customer, it all seamed kind of rude but I shrugged it off as maybe a bad day. I came back again and got kind of the same “i’m too busy to be talking to you or taking your order” attitude, I came back inside after getting our food to ask if we could sit inside and was ignored when I walked in to ask when she did start to acknowledge me I was already about to turn around because it just felt off

The FOH staff could be the slightest more personable, I was excited to bring my out of town family here but I wouldn’t just based off the energy and tone of the staff and how unfriendly they were. If anything i’ll order online, not the grits though....

WOW!!! What an incredible meal. I’m from Chicago, visiting for a concert. I had been doing research on vegan restaurants In Memphis. This one in particular caught my attention. The reactions of people tasting the food made me excited. Hands down this is the best vegan food I’ve tasted. I had the Philly cheesesteak and the egg-rolls, and it was so flavorful and good the reactions that you see from people on TikTok and other social media platforms are real! I had the same reaction once I tasted of the food. I arrived on Wednesday and unfortunately the restaurant was not open Wednesday or Thursday so I waited until today and it was worth the wait. I also drove from Southhaven which was about a 20 minute drive there and a 20 minute drive back and it was worth it. I will probably eat here again tonight, tomorrow and Sunday for the duration of my stay. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner and she was very kind and helpful. I wish her much success, and I hope that her business becomes a large chain one day and she opens a restaurant...

Worst food experience I have had in this city, which is saying something. My wife and I waited an hour for our food. It wasn't like they were busy, there were only a handful of people in the place and we watched numerous online orders get picked up while we waited for ours. It wasn't until they started to close up for the evening that they told us they were STARTING on our meal. Seriously? What added insult to injury is that the food was not even that good. It felt like the smash burger was dry and overly salty, I could have picked up a T.V dinner that was more enjoyable. All in all, I paid $15 for a crappy sandwich that I had to wait an hour to get. I strongly recommend...
