Subway — Restaurant in Memphis

This is the third time that I have had a disappointing experience in this Subway. I went back because it was a convenient stop. The first time the bread tasted stale, the next two times it had to do with cleanliness and safety. Subway seems to be notorious for not training their staff properly. We are in the middle of a pandemic people! Obviously they told them to wear masks but the guy wore his on his chin! I was praying he didn’t make my sandwhich. The third time was a doozy. The woman had on her mask then in the middle of making my sandwich touched her mask to adjust it, then continued to make my sandwich!! I was appalled and told her what she did which she proceeded to deny. I was watching her the whole time. So she asked if I wanted another sandwich I said yes. She then took off the gloves, then went to reach for another pair. I asked her please could you wash your hands first. She seemed irritated and protested that she did wash her hands. She did, before she started making my sandwich and before she touched her mask! She then washed them to appease me but continued to be irritated. This is a regular practice at Subway. I did training in food service just as a volunteer. You have to WASH YOUR HANDS FIRST then reach for the gloves. This is not rocket science. If your hands are not clean (because you didn’t wash them) then whatever you touch- like the gloves- then become unclean also. You cannot put gloves on without touching them! Then your contaminated gloves touch my food! Just imagine that you have red paint on your hands before you put on gloves to prevent paint from getting on stuff. Do you still get paint on stuff? Yes, because you got it on the gloves when you put them on! I blame Subway. C’mon this is basic...

Placed an order online for almost $30. Two of my sandwiches had bacon on them (didn't want them toasted). Called the store to let them know to please cook our bacon several times before arriving with NO ANSWER. Pulled up only a few customers in the store. Got my food and no bacon was cooked after asking him twice if it was and he told me yes. Requested that he make those sandwiches over because he wanted to only cook the bacon then place it back on there and that would've been a problem. He had an attitude the whole time making my sandwiches and then tried to roll my sandwich up with all the ingredients. No sir go to the back to get the rest.
